We had not had a fire in the fireplace for at least a decade because when we tried, the house became smoky and we had to open windows. He carefully inspected the spalling exterior brickwork, broken mortar, cracked crown, cracked flue, existing and improperly installed damper, and firebox. He gave us an estimate and well-informed advice. We were delighted that despite the lateness of the season, rainy cold weather, and his other work commitments, he and his crew were able to finish the work in time for Thanksgiving. He routinely called and spoke with us in person and texted us as to the timing and progress of work. He accommodated changes that we requested. As an Ozinga truck attempted to make a turn the truck's back end clipped the front of my daughter's car causing $1455 in damage. The driver of the truck was cordial and confirmed the damage caused by his truck; however, Ozinga is fighting the claim made by the insurance company. I had been told some time ago (by a former Ozinga employee), that this company was Christian-based. I am truly disappointed and hope that Ozinga will do the right thing. - Sincerely Disappointed
