My child is half Asian and the sneering attitude from the particular person is markedly different from how he treats caucasian children there. If you don't have a blonde, white kid I suggest you try the other location or somewhere else. we were fortunate to get a better cut down the road at Harmony salon for half the price and zero the racism/ negative energy.

My daughter requested a hair color that was silver with a very pale blue through it. She had medium brown hair and was only told that it may not be as light as she wanted the first time. Hair was bleached and it came very light, toner applied and then the dye went on - deep cobalt electric blue on the roots and silver on the lower half. It was not what she asked for and nothing like the pictures she showed. The only instructions were to wash every other day. The first washing the whole hair turned very blue. I called the salon and was told by Carly, the owner that the only thing that could be done was to wash it. (no mention of clarifying shampoo) She also stated that it looked exactly like the picture but she wasn't even there when it was finished. The second washing the whole lower portion turned green. The salon was closed for two days and my daughter was freaking out. So I researched and went to a beauty supply, purchased products to tone down the blue and cover the green which worked perfectly. It ended up the color she had originally wanted. We also had realized the day of the salon service that her clothing, both shirt and pants were damaged badly with bleach. I called the salon and spoke to the Jaclyn, stylist and then Carly, the owner. She said she didn't believe the damaged clothing happened in her salon because it had never happened before. She again stated that the color had come out exactly as the pictures and that we didn't complain when there. My daughter's hair wasn't even dry - she left the salon wet so we weren't sure what it would be like when dry. She also said I should have called and made an appointment to let them fix her hair (even thought the salon was closed) but we wouldn't have gotten an appointment for two weeks. She stated they are very busy and also asked me if I expected them to be available 24/7 for a hair emergency. Carly stated that Jaclyn spent a lot of time and used a lot of products on her hair but I paid the price of a high end salon for this service (over $350) and went to a professional salon to avoid having to color hair at home and/or ruin clothing. I was requesting compensation for only the products and clothing totaling $103. She told me that she would not compensate me for the products or the clothing and offered nothing to me. When I suggested I would have to file a complaint, she stated that I should go ahead. This is a horrible way to do business and I want to let people know what happened to us to avoid this happening to others. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB and will proceed with small claims court.
