Got so bad that numbers were exchanged and AJ took 2 days to respond and initiate the project. He responded due to my interior designer having to reach out to him. The communication was abysmal. That should have been my warning. The entertainment was done nicely but I was told they don't do wall paper finishes. The vendor (Ramico construction) at site asked where was my wallpaper or paint and I told him that AJ told me that you do not provide those services but the vendor told me that they do and that's the normal process when setting up the entertainment centers. So now I was lied to by AJ (Amar Construction). Now the bathroom, yes unfortunately I did two projects with this company. They placed the sink and did the plumbing. But when it came to the mirror they stated there wasn't an agreement on electrical wiring, but I know I stated I wanted an LED mirror so I bought one. Thinking it will be done properly, it was hung on 2 small screws in the wall and when I touched the light thinking it would turn on it didn't and started to sway. This can not only break one day by falling as well as my sink but also harm anyone in that bathroom when it does due to poor judgment calls and a lack of attention and awareness. A major safety issue. I asked Ramico to stop hanging the mirror since I wasn't happy with the upcharge price. AJ (Amar construction) took it upon himself and told them to proceed and that he was going to charge me anyways. Excuse me? This displays horrible communication and customer skills. I'm sorry but AJ didn't display any type of professionalism. I could go on and on about this experience. Even the mediation with him, my interior designer and I was unprofessional. I allowed him to speak and didn't interrupt him not once but as soon as it was my turn to speak I was constantly interrupted by AJ (Amar Construction) But I will end off with PASS HIM UP!!! Then around 7:45 they called me saying they wouldn't be done by 8:30 and asking if they could come the next day or stay later. I said to stay later and I would work it out with my renter. Got a call 5 minutes later with them openly lying to me, claiming they went to Home Depot and they were closed, so now claiming they couldn't complete it that night. Home Depot closes at 10 pm. It is a nationwide chain and even I know this. I asked them which home depot it was and they refused to reply, while I could hear them typing on a laptop (meaning they were not at / had not gone to Home Depot at all. Anyways, point being, they are completely okay lying to their customers, and won't follow through with their work. Just awful to work with.

Noah laid out our LVP flooring in the latter part of 2025. He was supposed to start mid-December,…read morebut we needed to move in by the end of the month. So I asked if we can move the start date up. He and his wife, Erica (then-fiancée, who now manages and procures for the business) moved their schedule around to accommodate my request. He is very dedicated to the work. I learned that they got married in the middle of our project. He just took 2 days off; got married in the weekend and was back to work on Monday! Sorry, Noah and Erica. He appears to have an artist's eye; made sure to put quarter rounds even inside the closets (which are largely hidden from view, see picture). He laid the planks vertically from the front door instead of horizontally (which, if done, would have cut the flow from the entrance). He matched the quarter rounds with the existing baseboards, so that if the latter has a small angled side, he would cut a small piece of the quarter round to fit that small side, instead of just doing a right angle. It looks aesthetically finished, instead of just looking "done". Erica is the same. When Noah was running late going home, he sent her a photo of what he thought was a finished job. She saw that some of corners and door-jamb trims did not have quarter rounds. She told him he had to do them. They're a good team. Noah is straightforward and very amiable. He explains what he does and is never impatient with questions, however inane. He is generous with his knowledge and is willing to teach how things work. He finished the job right on schedule, which allowed us to spend New Year's Eve in our new home. Fast forward to a couple of months after. He came back to fix our sprinklers that sprang leaks. He diagnosed the problem and made adjustments to make the existing system work. When you hire this business, you are assured of a job well-done.
