Tal is very knowledgeable about everything he does. I had previously had somebody else come out and look at my gate that wasn't working correctly and they had to come out two more times, still never fixing the issue. After he had it open half way, within ten seconds, Tal identified the issue. Then, he seemingly pulled off a magic trick when he told me that there's a 50/50 chance the piece that was missing actually fell out and was still in the dirt by the motor. Within another 30 seconds, he found the missing pin in the dirt. Again, this has been out for a year or so. Unreal. If you're looking for somebody who will explain to you in clear detail what he is doing so you feel you understand the value you're receiving, they're the ones you want. The price was right, too. I scheduled two companies to provide estimates and coincidentally they are arrived at the same time. Tal waited patiently and was very detailed with his explanation on what repairs were needed without replacing the entire thing. To put it simply, our new gates are absolutely STUNNING. Tal and his team created a custom cedar design for us and installed a sophisticated, seamless DoorBird system that can literally do everything with the push of a button (from long range too). He was also the ONLY builder who suggested a "telescoping" structure for the gate, so that we could enjoy a good portion more of our front yard instead of losing it to needless track. His go-to fence building guy, Roberto, has to be the kindest, wisest human being to ever build a fence. So detail oriented, so perfectionist. Tal and the entire team at Silence Garage Door did a tremendous job with our pedestrian walkway! We have a house with a front driveway gate but no walkway access, so we kept having packages just thrown over the wall (eek!), or people would leave the driveway gate open all day (which is less ideal from a home security standpoint). We new we needed a solution and checked with a few vendors with good yelp reviews. From the start, Tal was very communicative. He came by and helped us collaborate on some solutions. He gave us an honest quote for the entire process. We shopped around for a few comparisons - Tal's quote was in line. He also seemed by far the most thorough and knowledgeable about the various challenges and complications we may face along the way. I was worried about scope creep (him quoting me a price then with changes the costs ballooning) but that didn't happen. We did face a few roadblocks (plus the deluge of rain that caused delays - out of everyone's control!) but Tal was always honest, communicative, and fair. He was on top of the crew getting the work done, and stayed involve throughout the process. We had a hard deadline to get the work done and despite those delays Tal was on top of it. He was meticulous about getting the project completed to our liking, then going through the setup in detail with both me and my wife, and even once complete (and paid!) came back out immediately to troubleshoot a minor issue we had.
