I have hired a few handymen in the past and more than once they never have all of the tools or forget a part and they have to make a second trip, not him! He had all of his tools and was very prepared. He was also very honest with his prices and his advice. I had requested three services: tv mounting, hook up of washer and dryer. My dryer was not compatible with the electrical outlet and although he spent time on it because it could not be installed he did not charge me since the task could not be completed. So if you are looking for a handyman that is honest, thorough and does great work use him! I will be having him come back out for more work on my house to hang some curtains in my sunroom!

Steve solved that issue for me. He was able to install a TV Mount, change a lock, and put up a heavy mirror for me for a reasonable price and showed up on time. Came on a Thursday and installed the tub without the required rim boards which is required by the installation instructions and was discussed in writing prior. When I reminded him day before they must be installed his response was "we know". Then they didn't install. Quite the attitude for what's the come.... He came back out on Friday to add the boards and reinstall. While I'm at work him and his counterpart text me multiple times job is complete now and they want payment. He threatens to sue me for payment on Monday...again this is the SAME DAY they finished within a couple hours since the job is "complete". Stephen sounded like a desperate money hungry psychopath in my opinion. Alarm bell starts ringing.... I tell them especially since previous days misinstallation I will inspect it and water test before paying them. They try making excuse that "you also can't use water until tile is installed". What a lie! Thank goodness I didn't listen. So the next morning I cut off the tube he had blocked and ran the water and guess what? It leaking like a wide open sieve and damaged the ceiling below. (Video below) Long story short I had to hire an actual plumber who tore out and redid all their shoddy work. The plumbing they did to the spout didn't meet code either and was off center. No washer or propert sealant was installed on the tub drain which is why it leaked. Was also installed way off center. No fasteners were installed in the tub either. It's hard finding ANYTHING that was done properly. He even had the gall to state "you telling us how to do the work and I'm just wondering why you just didn't do it yourself?? We did a good job at a fair price." I regret hiring them and wouldn't recommend...to say the least. Photos and video below. It was not easy to find a reputable and reliable contractor who would lay carpet in our home (not sure if it's the location, or because we did all the tearing out of the old stuff/floor prep ourselves). The response from Guy that I received to my initial online request for a quote was immediate. Guy was great at understanding exactly what we needed. Once we agreed on a price and the specific carpet we wanted, Guy kept us in the loop with regards to ordering the materials (even finding a better priced option) and locking in the installation date. Guy showed up on time the day of, and had an experienced and very competent team member to assist. These guys had the underlay and carpet installed beautifully within a few hours. We are thrilled!
