They finally get someone to come tell me that they took their last client long ago. I can't believe I did a half hour drive for this and I have spent good money with them in the past but I I can't return nor can I recommend that others from here. Everybody scratches their head and looks at everybody else and no one takes any responsibility. I even called today but there was no answer so I could assume that things were still the same as when I called yesterday. I passed many places to come here and be disappointed. Don't take the risk!

The place looks like your standard beauty school, clean and without flair. I was thouroughly amused by a sign near the radio: "Do not change the radio station! Do not talk or sing over the music on the radio. Only these two stations allowed 107.5 & 102.7" I almost took a pic to submit it to the Passive Aggressive Notes website. Anyway, it definitely beats paying $75 bucks in downtown and South Loop for the same results. I'll be back.

However, she is very LAZY when it comes to taking care of the overall health of your hair to make sure that it stays healthy and continues to grow! The bottom line is that she is impatient and basically rushes through your appointment just to take your money & get you out of her chair instead of taking her time to treat your hair correctly as natural hair requires patience especially if your hair is long and thick like mine. For example, she will not detangle your hair thoroughly before she shampoos your hair which is a very important step before doing any style. So be sure to detangle it BEFORE your appointment because your hair will be extremely matted/tangled in the shampooing process and she won't do nothing but rip through your natural hair with a rat-tooth comb, smfh. And then as she rips through your hair, she will say, "sorry if I'm hurting you, it's not my fault." Baby how is it not your fault when you didn't detangle my sh*t before washing it ?! C'mon now -- be forreal. To be honest, I feel like my hair has grown more from me taking care of it these last two years versus her and she is the one who is "licensed" to do hair. Word of advice: Save your money and go to a real natural hair care specialist in the Hyde Park Area (EnvyMe Hair Studio) who will take their time and get your right, not just take your money. Do not come here, Cassandra is a kitchen beautician at its finest.
