Appointment made about a week prior to coming in because it's required. Without an appointment you might as well walk back out the door. On the plus side, it was much easier to schedule here then it was with the City of Chandler. Word has it the Post Office was four weeks out. We arrived maybe 30 minutes, give or take, prior to our appointment. And the appointment confirmation email does say to arrive at the exact time. This worked out fine because we needed to redo our paperwork. In the meantime our credentials were taken so copies could be made, we were given the appropriate forms and directed to the clipboards, took a seat to complete the new form(s). The young woman that greeted us and provided the appropriate forms (DS-82 and DS-11) for us to complete, came by to check on our status, gave us back our IDs, and reminded us of the form of payment accepted for passport(s) we requested, what to include in memo, and amount of processing fee handled by ASU and who that needed to be paid. Shortly after that we were invited to take a seat at Mr. J's desk (sorry, couldn't remember if it was Joshua or ...) where we went over more specific details, like verifying our passport photos were recent, passed over our cc's and personal checks, signed the application in his presence, etc. I inquired about turn around time and if it might be necessary to pay for expediting the process and he had us both convinced we would receive our passports within a reasonable period of time and not likely needing to pay the additional $65 for expedited processing. Fingers crossed. So we're looking forward to receiving our passport, the return of my old and expired passport card, and me with both passport and passport card -cuz why not?! before our upcoming trip. We were done and out the door before quarter after the hour of our scheduled appointment. Efficiently run. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Don't tell them I told you.

Just like the SD location, I received prior texts from my driver David letting me know what time he was arriving. I remember this experience from my SD to LA trip and it gives me such peace of mind. The communication between myself and the company from booking to getting picked up is always on point. David arrived 10 min early and let me know that he was ready whenever I was. He was waiting for me outside the car. He loaded my luggage and opened my door for me. He was so kind and easy to talk to. The ride was about 2.5hours and it was relaxing. We had some issues with 2 tours that we booked through Ride the Wave and Jim was fast to respond and assist. One of the tours we ended up having to cancel due to scheduling issues. I reached out to Jim to let him know and he worked on getting the refund process started right away and I received a confirmation email from the tour vendor the same day. We're now just waiting for it to get credited back to our card. The peace of mind of our trip being taken care of by professionals is invaluable. I can't recommend enough going through a travel agency for big trips because you just never know what could happen. Ride the Wave is as good as they come and I'm looking forward to using their services again for our next big trip!
