So when I am thinking about a taxi company I'm thinking about a company that's local that provides good service with good drivers and decent vehicles. When I went looking for a taxi company in Scottsdale I immediately noticed that Scottsdale Cab company had plenty of reviews and that they had been around for quite some time and had a track record of providing good service. I felt that would be the safest route to take and boy was I right. The taxi that arrived was clean the driver was very well dressed and polite and the car actually got to my residence about 15 minutes early. The driver knocked on my door and assisted me with my luggage and we got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. And just so you know I gave the driver a huge tip because I really appreciate the excellent service that I received from Scottsdale Cab Company.

Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was not interested in a taking short round-trip passengers. He told me to call Uber. Due to unforeseen circumstances I will be using taxis for much of my local business (small business plus personal) - Wish the "old" cab companies were still around... We used them during our Spring Break trip to Scottsdale for airport pickup/drop off as well as an all day trip. We had a late arrival and had our daughter in tow, I was very pleased to land and immediately get a text from the driver that they were there and ready when we were. The communication was very good and we grabbed our bags and met them at the door. Heather was our driver and she was such a joy. She's also a parent and I think she recognized that it had been a long day. She interacted with our five year old during the 30 minute ride to our hotel and we were really grateful for that. She also picked us up when our trip ended and remembered our daughters name and that she needed a booster seat. We also had a driver for a jeep tour that we did and had them for about 7 hours. Our driver was Sam and he was very kind and helpful. When we arrived for our tour it was a little confusing where we needed to be and Sam hopped out and went to figure it out for us. He also helped us with finding a place to eat. We didn't expect the tour to run as late as it did and while we were out he researched some places we could quickly get into without a reservation. That was such a great help and unexpected. There was a lot of driving involved and we ended up keeping Sam for longer than expected but it was all handled smoothly and it was so great that we could relax and let him handled getting us around. We later learned that he had purchased a booster seat for his vehicle when he learned our daughter would need one. It's this kind of thoughtfulness that really made our trip to Scottsdale memorable. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area.

First time was in August 2016 to go to the airport after business travel. My driver was incredible friendly and made the ride enjoyable. The second time was two days ago. I asked my hotel front desk to call a cab for me to the airport. The guy at the front desk either couldn't figure out how to call a cab or what, but I waited and waited for whoever he called (getting anxious the whole time because I might miss my flight). While he tried to assure me for 30 minutes that he knew what he was doing...and that my cab would be there IN ANOTHER 30 MINUTES I broke my politeness and said I'd call my own. The discount cab woman on the phone was incredibly nice and understanding. I told her the situation about my flight and she immediately bumped me to the top of the list. My discount cab was there in UNDER 5 MINUTES. Then once again I had a very friendly driver who made great conversation for the entire ride.
