I read the reviews but decided to give this place a try. It was delicious food. I got the fried wontons, hot and sour soup, and garlic chicken. I carried out and the food was ready quickly and was still hot when I got home to spite frigid weather. I'll definitely be back. read more

I do not recommend this gross restaurant toanyone whois alive, and wants goodchinese food. The Service is compared tothat of Burger King,and the Quality of the food is Worse than Burger King's. I'm notsure about the management because they are never present tohelpus. My brother ate at the buffet and will never return because a roach crawleed out onto his table I would recommend going tothe local Panda or even starving instead of eating here. read more

Absolutely awful experience. Ordered take out for lunch on 11/14/17. Very simple order: The lunch special: sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and egg roll. Simple enough, right? Picked up order and returned to work. No fried rice. Went back told the cashier there was no rice with order. She said nothing and brought me a container of fried rice. Returned to work. No egg rol. (I thought the egg roll was in the smaller bag - it was the fortune cookie). Went back again. Fortunately, my work is in the same area. The same cashier looked at me like I had six heads - like it was my fault. Said nothing. Went in the back and came out empty handed. Shortly after, the "manager" came out. Made no eye contact, walked around, sat a customer and then the cashier handed her a takeout container and the "manager" took 2 egg rolls off the lunch buffet and gave them to her to give to me. Nothing said, nothing made right. Just "here you go, I'll give you two egg rolls." (off the buffet). What a joke! Manager is useless fluff. Check your orders or better yet - don't order take out at all from here. read more

Oh, you poor vegetarians. Try some meat. I've eaten there a couple times. The food is good but I would recommend getting the meat dishes. the crab rangoon is very good. I've had both beef and chicken dishes. the hot and sour soup is also good. read more

I travel a lot for work and never eat at national chains. I also try to hit 1 Chinese eatery in every city I visit. This is by far my favorite. I thought it would be your typical mediocre fair. But, the General Tso is crispy on the outside and tender inside. Very flavorful sauce. Crab Rangoon was great. Service was quick but lacked any personality. Will definitely come back when in Wheeling. read more

Have been getting take away from here for several years. Wife stopped and got our usual garlic beef , wonton, and lomain noodles. Wow, under new management ? Portions reduced by at least a third. Asked for spicy and that don't happen. If this is any indication of things to come we will be going elsewhere. What a dissapointment..... read more

Excellent American-Chinese food with great service. Really a classy restaurant with a busy bar and large servings.

This is one of my regular places, good food, friendly people, service depending on who you get is great ( there are two servers that are any good). A bit oily, but pretty good choices for the vegan palate... yes vegan, plant based diets cure american diseases...carnivores should try it sometime! no meat no ills! read more

We have eaten at the Silver Chopsticks many times over the years and find the food and the service is great. No complaints here.

Food is good but service is HORRIBLE!!! My waitress last night was sneezing and coughing all over the place and not covering her mouth, we lost our appetites fast. She also didn't come back to give us our check, after waiting forever I had to go find her so we could leave! The management could careless if your satisfied or not. I will be polite as I can. If people are highly rating this place, they are either clueless about good food and service with low expectations or these reviews are fake to counteract the real reviews. The food is not good and service is poor. This restaurant is dirty and it smells. Worse yet, the owner allows people to smoke at the bar which is against state laws and those coming to be seated have to walk through that area. The booths are horrible and so claustrophobic, I would liken them to medieval torture devices. When I was there on numerous occasions the waitress was obsessed with taking our drink glasses as fast as possible because was told by management that people steal them. Yes, we all want cheap used glassware, how did they know? Avoid this place unless you are a state inspector. read more
