I wanted to visit Gila Cliffs National Monument without having to drive up from Deming the same day, so I opted to stay in Silver City. I called and a friendly and helpful man booked me in for that night. Because my RV is very small he put me into a back in space, which was not the best option since all of the utilities were at the back of the space, but I was able to use the electricity and water and to pull into the shared dump the following morning before heading to the Monument. I walked into the town after I pulled into the RV park, but I was there on a Thursday, which is apparently the day the entire town closes down, so I had to cook my own dinner in my RV. read more

We agree with all the positive remarks about this pleasant RV park. It is a good one as far as RV parks go. And we had a huge space with a nice fenced in patio area, very nice. Three negatives: the WIFI is abominable. It is usable about half the time, is it that difficult to make it viable all the time? This is a common problem in RV parks and motels we have found. The second negative is another common one: there is one commode in the men's room for the entire park. You may find yourself waiting in line which never is pleasant. The third is the noise from frequent sirens you have to endure. Otherwise, it is a charmer and we highly recommend it! I can't say enough about this wonderful RV park. I've stayed in many, too, from Florida to Colorado, and this is at the top of the heap from the standpoints of cleanliness, friendliness, willingness to help their customers, and honesty. This park is especially good for dog owners, since it has a fenced in dog park where dogs can go off leash. Bags are provided. It's a short walk from your RV to the dog park, so even those late night before bedtime dog walks are not far from your site. The onsite coffee shop is a plus. If you are staying in the park and bring your own cup to the office, you can have coffee all day long for just $1. That's free refills of delicious Kona coffee all day long when the office is open (it closes for a few hours at lunchtime and then reopens at 2 p.m.). Keith, Julie, Michelle, and everyone associated with the park are very nice people who do their best to make your stay a good one. Rolls of quarters for laundry are available at the office, as are snacks. Less than a block from Silver City RV Park is a full grocery store where you can get groceries and sundries that you might need for your stay or continued travel, and downtown Silver City is about a mile away, if that. read more

We stayed here for three nights and had a really comfortable stay. The sites are small and you are right on top of each other. Still the property is well maintained, although our site was fairly uneven, especially for larger RVs (26'). The staff is very, very friendly. The bathrooms are clean and well taken care of, as well as very secure. We didn't use the laundry facilities. This park misses on 5 stars because their WiFi was very poor, the actual location of the park itself isn't exactly in the greatest neighborhood and the sites aren't as level or large as they should be. All in all we would visit again for sure but it's not the best park we have stayed at. read more

We're new to RV world, and Silver City Rv Park is at the top of my list. Easy walk to showers if you need one, close to downtown Silver, and folks very freindly. There's a great coffee shop on site, clean laundry and dog park. But there's lots of dogs here, all on leashes of course and its dog friendly as they claim.. Great stay. read more

A wonderful place to stay we loved it here the park has clean as were the restrooms and showers. The laundry room is clean and convenient as well. Stayed here two nights. The guy at the front desk is not very friendly. I really do not think he liked his job. Sites are small but work. Great laundry. Close to downtown. Go to Gila Cliff Dwellings. Direct route took us one hr 15. Go early. No traffic. Do not bother to take loop back. Not very interesting. And almost two hours. Hot springs up by Gila full of survivalist do we skipped it. read more

What a hidden treasure! FYI Marica R., the "guy at the front desk" is the owner and a great guy. That said, although small, this parks is great! We are in a 40' Beaver with a Toad and had no problem getting to our site. We are staying for 4 nights on business and are delighted that we found this place. Stayed here again , still very clean and friendly. The only rv park downtown in silver. Cabins are perfect. In park coffee shop and new donut machine( these donuts are heaven , taste like funnel cake but better !) read more
