I know people are in and out but if you go weekly or biweekly and see some of the same things going untouched, it makes you wonder if they are bothering to do deep cleans. The soccer field seems to always have little pieces of trash that I'm keeping my two year old from picking up or quickly grabbing like bottle caps and plastic. And then I'll see similar week to week or things that look like electrical wires. The main gripe is the ladies room. The changing table has been dirty and this is over some months. I finally took a photo. Luckily my daughter is almost fully potty trained and I bring something to cover it but sheesh... it would be nice if it looked like someone tried to clean it.

My lil rescue doggie had his first park experience and it was lots of fun. People get it confused with Powder Springs Linear Park but they are a few miles apart but both dope parks with good amenities

In fact if you're driving Hahn woods is a good place to park as parking is not great anywhere around Lullwater. There is a deck that you can pay to park in at the Emory Clifton campus - that is the closest parking I believe.

Today's hike at Sweetwater exceeded my expectations in every way! The weather was giving spring…read morevibes and the people were out for it ! Initially we parked in the wrong lot but that worked in our favor (where the bait and tackle shop is). There were lots of families out having picnics and fishing. We did a 1-mile loop in the area and were able to see the yurts. NOTED . Beautiful sites to take in before we ventured to the main lots with the visitor's center. Not only are the trails well marked, but there is ample parking across multiple lots. The attendant at the gate entrance was so kind, welcoming and JOYful! We ventured out on the red trail and it was gorgeous. To my surprise, the trail was full today. It seems that Sweetwater is a populated date spot!!! We saw folks of all ages out with picnic baskets, journals, coloring books, bathing suits ... it was AMAZING! We hiked to the end of the red trail and back, venturing off trail to be clear to the River only once. By far, this was one of my favorite hikes and definitely a place I'll revisit to explore some of the other trails.

If you are comfortable with that and have some sturdy shoes, you will have a good view of the ruins and the river. Do not do this trail if you don't handle stairs or steep inclines well! So I had hoped and planned on spending more time at this park to watch the softball tournament my…read morehusband's girls travel softball team was playing in. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. We got to the field which was, maddeningly one hour away from our hotel. Thanks not at all to the tournament which arranged this. There was plenty of parking for the number of teams and games going on. Always a good thing. And the parking lot was nicely paved and laid out. There were some trees around which helped as I sat in their shade and waited for the team to warm up before playing - like waited 1.5 hours in the 95+ degree temps. I learned quickly that the building above the softball fields was a gym - and it was open. It was also air conditioned and had nice restrooms available. I had made this my place to hang out between games for the coming days. However, with the rain that arrived, that was never needed. The fields are nicely laid out in a quad with concessions and restrooms in the center. Restrooms were kept in order and concession prices were fair. (Especially having been to see the Braves play the night before and paid 2.5 times as much for a soda!) There were bleachers on each side which I also appreciate. While I have a super comfortable chair that folds up - it is heavy to carry. And I also have a very nice bleacher cushion with a back rest. It is MUCH easier to tote around and is perfectly comfortable for a game - but not much longer. Fields were in good shape and the proper fencing and netting was in place. Dugouts looked OK, too - although I did not actually enter one or view it from the field - only what I saw looking across the diamond. The location of the park was OK, too. Near a Waffle House and gas stations - must haves for last minute needs like water/ice/snacks/etc. The Waffle House was our hang out as waited for the games to cancelled once the rain came. So yes they are very nice fields. But having driven 8+ hours to get here and only getting 2 games in thanks to the rain - it's quite hard to be enthusiastic about the experience at this park. But, I think I am fair giving it four stars. Hope you have better weather than we did if you go here!!

This park is by the Courthouse in Paulding Co. The park is always clean and welcoming. The only…read moredownside is a small playground. The kids like it but sometimes say they wish there was more 'stuff.' I love to walk the track because it's rarely packed and you have ample space to avoid others when walking or jogging. I also prefer running here because the track is more leveled than a park. There are trash cans throughout the track and the playground and I have yet to see them overflowing.
