Silver Lake Pizza was on a Yelp top 100 pizza list, and was the only one from Michigan. I had it on my list to try, but it didn't live up to the hype. I can see how they would be amazing after a long day at the beach, but so would a bag of Cheetos. The pizza was thin crust. We tried the pickle and a margarita. I wanted to get a schooner with coke and no alcohol, but they said no. We also ordered an appetizer that they never brought out. Felt like a tourist trap. read more

The pizza here is phenomenal. My whole family thinks it is the best we have ever had. The workers were very kind and very hard working. We were there on Fourth of July week and they were BUSY. the workers we so young but kept it very kind and professional. They were helpful when we ordered and suggested bosco sticks. My 14 year old said they were better than she has ever had. The pizza place is in a convenience store atmosphere with ice cream too. Don't let that fool you. The GOAT. read more

Pizza was great! To be honest, we thought it would be an actual restaurant but it's pizza made in the back of a convenience store. Don't be fooled, pizza is very good. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. We got 2 9in and 2 14in pizzas. The deluxe was a bit soggy, but the rest were great. Do wish they stayed in the oven a few extra minutes. They advertise pizza, subs and beer and while they do sell beer, you cannot consume it if you decide to eat at the tables they have outside. read more

Been to silver lake many times but just tried the pizza factory for the first time. All the other restaurants in the area are over priced and the food is bland, that's why we always BBQ. On our recent trip we tried the pizza factory's homemade pizza it was sooo good. We loved the pizza so much that we ordered it again for dinner the next day and on our way home we stopped for their ice cream witch is also yummy and half the cost of all the other ice cream places in town. Will definitely be going their every time I'm at the dunes :) read more

These pizzas are huge! Baked in a huge pizza oven! We get carry out and take it with us to the hotel after a long day on the dunes. It really hits the spot and they have an awesome selection of toppings. I got their side salad too - it was so good! I will be going back again and again! read more

This pizza is the best I have ever had. Just got back from camping and tried the pizza the first night and went back the second night. We ordered a large 16" pepperoni pizza for 13.75 and the whole pizza was covered with pepperoni I mean not onepiece was missing pepperoni. The sauce was amazing the crust hand tossed, mozzarella shredded and perfect. I would actually drive the 2 1/2 hour drive just to get pizza. That 16" fed 7 people 2 adults and 5 kids and still had a slice left over. Best pizza hands down. read more

Pretty good pizza. Hand tossed crust and heavy on the toppings and cheese. One large ($15) fed 3 teenage boys so that's a win in my book! Canned mushrooms though. Bummer. read more

We have spent years at Silver Lake and always disappointed in the food choices for a decent value. We ordered a Large ham on half / sausage on half with extra cheese pizza and it was AWESOME. The pizza was $15.00 and at Silver Lake that is a steal. We picked up a menu and also noticed that they have oven baked subs for only $3.75....That's our next item to try and review. I've been visiting the silver lake pizza factory for years and will continue to do so. It is, without a debate, the best pizza I've ever had. I've driven from across the state many times solely to get their pizza! I end up picking a bunch up for my friends too because they share my opinion. The prices are good, everything is hand made and the staff I've encountered has always been courteous. FYI though: it's not a sit down restaurant despite what you may think. It's a small all purpose party store for nearby campers and visitors to the dunes. However, if I could give it 10 stars out of 5 I would. read more

After waiting half an hour for our pizzas, we walked back inside to pick it up and the pizzas were never made-they forgot our order! We heard a bunch of excuses for why it was forgotten. The lady who took down our order looked through the tickets and said our ticket wasn't there. We told her to look further down the pile of tickets, and she found it. They made our pizzas, and have us an extra pizza for free. They seemed disorganized, but overall the pizzas were good. read more

Awesome pizza! Much more substantial than an ordinary pie. We got the deluxe medium and my wife and I didn't even get through half of it. Great home made crust, quality toppings, and tasty sauce. A medium will easily feed a family of 4! read more

Yes, the pizza is good. The shorter elderly woman is not. I don't have any legs, and she accused me of bumping into the pile of logs available to those that camp. She came out of her trailer, and accused me o f" scratching her logs" as she put it (firewood). Sounds silly, and unbelievable I know. My other half was inside ordering the pizza at the time. Weather or not she knew I was handicapped, is insignificant. This woman needs to give better treatment to her customers. We'll still support the pizza factory, as we have choices, but will never tolerate another outburst again of this sort. She made a fool out of herself. The man in the jeep next to where my wife parked our car, just shook his head and commented to me some explorative language on my behalf, as did his female companion rider. Calling her a "total (&#&^*%&) idiot. Her lack of manors with no appreciation to her customer(s) have nothing to do with there great pizza. read more
