My son (14) was discharged from Silver Oaks yesterday. As a parent, you will never feel "good" about sending your child to an in-patient facility. But, as a parent of a child struggling with mental health issues, there may be a time where it is absolutely necessary. Due to our location and the timing of available in-patient care, Silver Oaks was really our only option. Reading other Google and Yelp reviews gave us serious reservations about leaving our child here, but I am happy to report that he had a perfectly fine 7 day treatment. These sorts of places are not 5-star resorts. Communication with your child is very limited: There is only one hour of in-person visitation per week. There are only a few opportunities for phone conversations per day (limited to 5-10 minutes per call max) and the child must call out to speak to you, you will not have much luck calling in during the specified phone times. All of this being said, he was safe, well taken care of and received some necessary counseling, group therapy and an adjustment to his meds. This is something that is incredibly hard to accept, but there does come a time in these scenarios when parents can no longer handle the load and need professionals to step in. In response to some other reviews of verbal abuse, lost items or unapproved meds being administered: We had some underwear that was lost by the staff and had to drop more off. That was it. No other issues during his stay. My criticism of Silver Oaks is that there was an inconsistency across the board in terms of which therapist or social worker we would get updates from. It was really whomever was on-staff. This resulted in a lack of continuity and consistency and his treatment likely suffered a bit from this. At discharge, we were handed a stack of papers and the next steps (PHP or IOP) were completely put in our hands to arrange. They made suggestions, but this step was not set into motion by Silver Oaks. As parents in a crisis situation, having a professional's guidance through the next steps in his mental health treatment would have been very valuable. Good luck to you all and god bless. read more

I was here two times in the inpaitent part. it didn't help at all and just made it worse for me later on and put me on unnecessary medication. the staff was rude, food was not the best and the environment in general was worse then the first time I was here. do not send your child here as i was an adolescent that was here. read more

09/28/24 DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE! I read the comments and still sent my mom here praying for better experience. Well it was the worst experience ever. My mom is A senior 71 with dementia and bipolar disorder. The lack of compassion and empathy you used to get from Healthcare professionals is GONE! I had the Police called on me by the Head Nurse Angelica Diaz Luna , she was extremely rude and short with me. She walked over to my table with an attitude. Yes I was upset to see my mom's arms with Bruises Large Black and Blue ones and on her left arm the bruise wraps around her arm. She had a large blister in the center of her forearm on the inside left arm. She didn't have ANY of these Bruises on her arm nor a blister. I saw her the week before for visitation and checked her body. I asked her Why was my mom's body this way and when I asked for it to be documented she immediately interrupted me and said they document and check their entire body's daily and write notes. That wasn't good enough for me and I told her this is some bullshit. She said You need to leave and I'm calling the police. I said call them and I'll wait TF! I ask questions about my mom with bruises and a blister that had a huge sack of fluid just sitting there. I refused to leave the cafeteria for 5-10 mins they brought in 10-14 staff members to try to calm me down. I was not leaving that facility without documentation. The police came and Angelica tries to LIE ASKING ANOTHER EMPLOYEE to come over and agree with her story and he refused. Great job young man. The police took my report and hers and I was then escorted out to my car the officers were extremely nice and understanding and no other issues with them. Asking questions they get annoyed, they don't explain how things work I didn't hear from my mom for almost 5 days and no one said well she has to sign a sheet to make a call. She wasn't coherent the first few days so of course she wasn't going to sign the sheet. Like simple stuff like that should be explained especially for elderly. There are No Doctors you will never speak to one or meet one. They have the RNs running and prescribing the medication my mom was there for 13 days. Her progress was up and down and she shared that the tv was extremely loud every day, the staff barely checked on them and she DID NOT SLEEP IN A BED. She was told that she had to sleep on a board. The released her to me the next day 09/29 Sunday at 9am. Isn't that a coincidence the day after I made a fuss about her treatment and bruises. I also posted on my socials the nurse and the incident. I am actively looking for others who are willing to speak to an attorney as I have one and we are looking for more ppl to speak up and out against this horrible facility. I came here to get help with my depression, anxiety and addiction issues. I I had a rough road while I was there but I was treated with nothing but respect and and care for my well-being by all of the staff I really appreciate the work they do. I'm happy to say that since being there I'm still clean from all substances and my depression and anxiety have never been better in my life they figured out the right medication for me I would highly recommend this place. Was in Silver Oaks to have my meds straightened out, and they get an A+ for that . The nurses were wonderful , and overwhelmed with all of the work as were the tech's that they needed more of . Covid , and URI was a gift I received there so I was in lockdown as a result we got the Cold food last (they need more money allotted to the Cafeteria !!!! ) It would be nice if they came up with my $75.00 though I have made several phone calls and they have gotten me nowhere . P.S Got the last three pills from my z pack Eight days after I got home a real help I might add . read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came here seeking help for anxiety and depression, but unfortunately, my experience was made extremely difficult by Lisa, one of the nurses. If you or a loved one are experiencing a mental health crisis, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. I was publicly yelled at by Lisa for allegedly "staring" at her, which was humiliating and unsettling. Throughout my stay, I witnessed multiple staff members gossiping about patients, mocking them, and calling them names--something that many others noticed as well. Emotional reactions were often met with immediate threats of sedation rather than support or understanding. At one point, I approached the front desk calmly to ask a question and even tried to apologize if I had unknowingly come across as rude. Instead, Lisa threatened to sedate me if I didn't step away. She also interrupted a private phone call with my family to accuse me of violating HIPAA simply for discussing the mistreatment I observed in the facility. While the therapy groups were genuinely helpful for me, the way most of the staff--especially Lisa and some of the techs--treated patients showed a clear lack of compassion and professionalism. That said, I want to recognize Taylor and Nikki, who were incredibly kind and supportive. Their care truly stood out in an otherwise negative experience. read more

We had a terrible experience with my daughter here. The communication from staff was the bare minimum and they even lost some of my daughter's clothes. I called to see if I could pick up my daughter's stuff today before she's discharged tomorrow. They said yes, but I drove all the way from Aurora and they won't give it to me. I usually don't leave reviews on anything, but I'm hoping to save others from a bad experience. I went in for a screening anticipating outpatient care. I had no plans to harm myself or others, only unwanted intrusive thoughts. Next thing I knew, I was admitted for nine days. The facility was very restrictive with a broad mix of people. One night, I had to sleep on a loveseat because my roommate was erratic and disruptive. They decided to put me on the couch instead of her because they knew I wouldn't get up and bother the staff all night. The beds were terrible, you were not allowed to bring writing utensils (the allowed crayons or markers) into your room, the place smelled like grease, and there was visible grime on the walls in the intake area. Two staff, Lindsey and DeeDee, were amazing. But other staff were shouting at patients and being needlessly confrontational. I went to Linden Oaks to pursue outpatient care, and they said that they would NOT have admitted me for inpatient. Please, don't go to this place unless you are desperate! read more

This hospital was the worst hospital I have ever been I went there to get help when I came out I now have PTSD.I said to the nurse my chest was hurting and I couldn't breathe she checked my vitals and said that they were fine the next day I was pukeing so bad I had to use my ten minute phone call to call my mom and said I need to go to the emergency room if I didn't call her I would've died it was so bad yes I did amounts die.don't send anybody here they are super abusive they beat somebody and almost hurt her so bad. read more

I went last year and honestly, I had the best stay. I went in completely down and out of hope, and getting to be there has actually helped me so much. The staff are amazing and so sweet and caring. If it ever gets to a point where I am as bad as I was, Silver Oaks is the main place I would go. It has been the best treatment I have ever gotten at a behavioral hospital. read more

i want to start off by saying this place literally saved my life. From the strict schedule, to zero phone access and most importantly the other patients who helped me feel like I was a human again. I truly believe this new view on life is something I would have never gotten from any other experience. THAT BEING SAID...overall the care I and other patients received was far from adequate. From Being extremely RUDE, to downright ignoring patients experiencing hallucinations. Wendy, a nurse there, was one of the biggest bitches I have ever interacted with in my life. So her being a nurse at a mental health facility is sickening. I had dietary restrictions, as I am a vegetarian and they conveniently "forgot" every day. The rules were constantly changing as none of the employees could agree on what the rules were. Also if you are type 1 diabetic this place was dangerous as their means of treatment changed daily...they had no way to accurately carb count and they refused to bolus for hyperglycemia unless you were about to eat. I had to scream at them to give me insulin when my sugar was 350. All in all I am actually saddened to have to give such a negative review as this place has the potential to be something great. And some of the workers found their calling there, DeeDee, Momma T, Hannah, Liz, to name a few. Ultimately this place felt like prison. It was an overall decent experience. I was on the adolescent unit. Some of the kids there were a bit much, a lot of drama. But that's to be expected from a unit full of 20-30ish teens and preteens. The staff was overall nice and they take our treatment seriously. I've been to plenty of stays before but this was byfar the best one. I feel like I made decent progress on my mental health journey. My favorite tech was Jacob. IS was really nice, closer to my age so I felt more understood in some way. He made me feel safe and cared for and knew how to make things fun while still keeping things on tract towards our treatment. I also really like Melissa and Roxy. They're both amazing techs to be around and I enjoyed having them there. All three of them truly care about every kid there and only want the best for them. The food was great and I liked how the cafeteria was set up. The rooms are decent. The bathrooms are nice but you have to place a hand towel between the door for it to stay closed, not a problem though. Tip if you're going here though, when you shower turn it on then flush the toilet if you want warm water. And native and kids brands are the ideal body wash and shampoo and conditioner to have there because they don't accept alcohol in any of their products. Also get native deodorant because most of them have alcohol in them aswell. But overall, again, a pleasant experience at this hospital. read more

If you even try to attempt to leave before 5 days with an Against Medical Advice (AMA) they will keep you there for a full week or more. A mental facility is supposed to help you, silver oaks doesn't even acknowledge that you need help. your day consists of waking up and going to group to do anything other than learning how to cope and deal with why you were sent there. the staff talks about other patients in the unit in front of the patients. they will give you the wrong medication or will deny you of the meds you need OR EVEN take you off current meds without your consent or you even knowing at all. i came into this place in a very bad mental state and left even worse. They do not do anything to take care of the patient. my question is, why are they letting people sit in their room, not eat, take their meds, not bathe, nothing. You're supposed to get up and do your job as staff . not only that but why are they giving roommates to someone who is contagious with COVID 19?? worst. Place. Ever. read more

Since Yelp deleted my review (but leaves up others that also have lots of detail) I am going to have to stick to the short version- inadequate care, my social worker literally yelled at me and no individualized patient treatment plan was offered whatsoever. The nurses are some sort of inept stuck in high school mentality type of people. They're rude and just plain cruel. They power trip on putting you through hell. I would never recommend this place. They just pump you with drugs and make you go to senseless waste of time groups and punish you over and over again for things that make no sense. I had originally went there for depression but suffered a medical emergency whilst there. Instead of taking me to the ER to address it, they just watched me be tortured for a week. These people are real sick. Don't get me started on the techs. One of them called me fat and the same one I witnessed sexually harassing a 27 year old kid. This place is a cess pool and the techs sit around and gossip and laugh they don't treat this as work it's just a place to go make fun of the patients and gossip about them. They don't let you stay in contact with fellow patients if you do you get cold food! This place needs an investigation immideattly they extended my stay for no reason when I cried more days were added because they say I need extra help the 5 day contract is a lie you only leave when insurance stops paying. You know it's a bad place when you hear the front desk staff say that they would rather work in a federal prison than to be there. Discharge paperwork was missing medications and prescriptions were not sent to pharmacy as they stated they were. This place is HORRIBLE ! If I can give it 0 stars I would. My husband admitted himself there because suffers from major depression. We looked at this place for him to go to and I thought this was place for him to get help. Jake the social worker was a complete jerk and spreading lies. He was telling my husband that I said this and that and I never did. Then his doctor wanted to have a virtual family meeting. For some off reason his doctor told him I decline the meeting. I never been asked to have one. My husbands insurance only paid for a certain amount of days there. They said if the insurance ran out and he still needed to be there then we would be forced to pay out of pocket and it is close to 1,000 a day. By law they cannot do that do that. There is paperwork there we would have fill out for that to happen and no I cannot forced into that, Dr. Koko is HORRIBLE too. That man has no bed side manner. He does not listen to you, he is arrogant, doesn't listen, and he talks over you . Judt look up the reviews about this man, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was in outpatient here and i was miserable. They had terribly rude techs and staff although there were a few amazing ones. Not to mention the 7 HOURS of pure truama i had to experience during my evaluation process. This place is extremely dangerous for type one diabetics. They dont carb count and when i needed a new glucose sensor they hadn't informed me it was brought and i went the whole day without the proper medicine i needed. When i finally got out and asked where it was it was sent upstairs. They don't let us talk during break or lunch, we cant colour or do anything. It's like a prison. I also wanna call out eva, she's fat shamed me multiple times despite her knowing about my purging disorder. She's also lied on behalf of other patients. Props to raman, ashley, grace and alyssa. They made my time here enjoyable. In general i've learned a few skills and its convenient if you have a dog shit insurance like medicare. Some of the worst attitudes by any hospital staff I have ever encountered including an MHT threatening a patient in her late 70's. Completely unprofessional. Staff will tell you they will "Check into it" and never get back to you. 2nd shift MHT's were told to stop using their cellphones during work time and they took it out on the patients. Unable to have productive group sessions due to disruptive patients attending that clearly needed more assistance with their issues before attending. Learned very quickly to just keep my mouth shut and take the verbal abuse so I could get out of there as quickly as possible. Maximum profits, minimal treatment. read more

Stay Away !!! If they get approval from your insurance you don't get out ..They use intimidation tactics, such as extending your stay even longer if you express a desire to leave. The fighting between patients is unbearable.. The help you get is 2 group therapy sessions a day ... no private therapy at all !! Plenty of Medication, so you can't think. Then nothing else for the day. They got the system down.... so if you care about your loved ones ... RUN !! This place needs to be investigated . I thought our mental health system had improved, this has sent it back 100 years . Please be careful ! My family member went there for outpatient help and is still in there ... soon as I saw the 2 nd request for additional days I knew he wasn't getting out... this person is an adult, works full time and has no record of violence, did not threaten anyone, drove himself looking for help and has been detained ever since. I have pleaded with numerous people to no avail. The absolute worse place to send anyone. It sincerely is about getting as much as they can get from your insurance. I never post anything, I am posting this review because, I still cannot believe this is happening, this person has committed no crime., threatened anyone, went for out patient help due to stress and now can't get out 7 days later.. 3 more days til insurance won't pay, at this time he will miraculously be cured !! That 72 hour myth we all thought was what happened... nope that is how long they have to assess you. I believe that means if you have no money... out the door you. I wish I could write a better review. While, there were a few amazing nurses and techs, there were far more awful ones. They yell at patient like we are stupid and trouble makers. They bark orders, yell at patients not to cry, scream when someone forgets a rule. The therapists for rec and group are nice, however there is no one-to-one therapy, which makes very little sense. The psychiatrist, was rude, quick, insulting, and a terrible listener (Debra). It is not a kind, compassionate place. Even the most compliant and kind patients are treated poorly. The lack of compassion for patients in crisis is shocking. The only reason I got healthy in that place was new meds, a couple good staff members and fellow patients; we supported each other. It's a shame that the staff treats people in crisis like such crap. It really can hinder someone's progress. It's just absolutely inhuman. I got yelled at for crying because I was missing my children. If I'm ever in crisis again, I won't go there and likely will be very hesitant to go anywhere! Do better, people! read more

I am the plenary guardian of an adult male who was a patient at Silver Oaks. I am also a professional educator who works in the field of special education and understand the law. I can't even begin to explain the horrible experience I had with trying to communicate with the staff here, even though I am my son's legal guardian. The facility was provided proof of my guardianship with his admission paperwork from the ER, but it was not acknowledged for days. I left multiple voicemails for the nursing staff and social worker that were not returned. The phone was not answered when I called and it would disconnect without allowing me to leave a voicemail. I called the receptionist to send a message to the nursing staff and social work staff to return my call ASAP. Another social worker's voicemail stated she is only able to return calls between 3:00 and 4:00 daily!? I received a phone call from a social worker on the 3rd day and when I called back, received a message that her "voicemail had not been set up yet." I left two voicemails for the hospital supervisor which were never returned. The very first time I spoke to any social worker (day #5), she had the discharge planner present to make my son's discharge plan. I was furious to say the least! The one time I was able to speak to a nurse she was rude and short with me. She seemed irritated that I was asking questions, as if she didnt have time to talk to me about my son's welfare. My son came to the hospital on 2 medications and left on 6 medications, after never requesting permission from me or explaining why they were changed. My son has been through in-patient at multiple other hospitals and I have never had any problem whatsoever communicating with the staff, as the legal guardian. I was actually told by one staff member that "we do not involve guardians if the patient is capable of making decisions for himself". Umm.. he is NOT able to make logical decisions which is why I have guardianship. The staff allowed my son to sign a waiver to be discharged after 5 days without consulting me. Luckily, I was able to prevent that just in the nick of time to keep him hospitalized longer for stabilization, that I knew was crucial to his well-being. Overall, I believe the staff here is uncaring, unprofessional and rude and I would not ever recommend this facility to anyone! It was awful and frustrating beyond belief! read more

My son had been admitted against our will a couple of years ago and the sight of the place still turns my stomach. When you see an ambulance outside bringing another unfortunate patient for admission you know what experience they have in store for them. They are rude, condescending, and have no patience for you. Techs are regularly on their own personal phones and frequently gossip about patients; it's like they did not even try to hide it. One or two staff members were okay, overall I would not recommend this hospital to anyone, even my worst enemy. They absolutely will not discharge earlier than 7 full days. While I was there a weekend therapist named Alice caused a patient severe distress due to her clear discriminatory behavior against a non-binary individual. Alice deserves to be fired for the situation. I have never seen such unprofessional staff in a place where people truly are needing help. read more

Nurses there are insane and take their jobs way too seriously. They are a mean girl group. Forced unwanted meds that gave me serotonin syndrome. Because of the forced psych meds that the doctors there prescribed me, it gave me serotonin syndrome and I had the worlds worst headache for 2 weeks. Had to go to the ER for it. Ridiculously strict rules. Catty and unnecessary treatment of patients. Patients are ignored and not taken seriously by any of the staff. Not all the staff or nurses are bad, but most. The rules of this place don't make any sense and they in fact mess with your sanity more than it helps patients. read more

This can be a bigger nightmare for them if you do not do so. They will not feed the patients, they medicate in a dangerous way, and then bill $2000 a day to be abused by the staff. I never ever write reviews but....If you are considering going here for DETOX, RE THINK YOUR CHOICE! This place is NO GOOD! Even for mental health. The techs are extremely lazy, they laugh and gossip about the patients and they have to lock the patients room doors at all times due to patients stealing others things. But then have an attitude when you ask for your door open. The only privacy you have there is a chore for them to put a key in the door to unlock it. They LIE TO YOU ABOUT YOUR BLOOD WORK! When I was discharged I was finally able to look over all of my bloodwork and turns out my glucose is extremely high and I am prediabetic, they absolutely did not tell me this while I was in there they only told me that I was vitamin D deficient. A lot of my blood work was wacky, a doctor should ALWAYS tell a patient if something comes back alarming. ALSO, OF YOU ARE ON BIRTH CONTROL BRING IT WITH YOU BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT GIVE IT THERE! My blood pressure was between 167/110-171/114 the whole stay, they did tend to this probably because they wanted to avoid a lawsuit if I went into cardiac arrest, but other than that they seem to not give a shit about healthcare or mental health. They seem to not want to deal with people, just let them do whatever they want till they act out enough to give them that booty shot (tranquilizer shot in the buttcheek, knocks you out for a hot minute) and they'll keep doing it because they are LAZY! Save yourself the hassle and the extra stress and find a better place. This place is god awful. Also to keep my bathroom door shut I had to shove a sock in between the door and the door jamb. I didn't expect luxury but when you are detoxing and have a roommate...you need some privacy...Unbelievable. Below is my blood work, but I was "only vitamin D deficient" THESE ARE THINGS PATIENTS DESERVE TO KNOW! Positive note: Shoutout to nurse Victoria. She was the only nurse and employee in general who genuinely showed compassion towards myself and the other patients. I mean these reviews are borderline horror story holy moly. really honestly don't know how anyone hasn't sued them into the ground yet. To start off pretty much the entire staff is incredibly rude and neglectful. They consistently made fun of patients. Especially the night shift, they'd sit in the main room and say the most hurtful things about patients. Straight up bullying, I felt like I was in Mean Girls but a horribly twisted version. They don't have separate wards so it was an extremely stressful environment. Patients who were struggling more with whatever battle they were fighting often just got sedated. Constant screaming and fighting between patients. One of the other patients stood in the middle of the main room and peed. That was one of the highlights of the entire experience actually. The staff is seriously sedation slap happy. They sedated me for having a panic attack the first day I was admitted. I was just in my room having a hard time breathing, walls closing in thing and they stuck a freaking needle in me like what the heck. It made the panic attack 10x worse I just couldn't move. They also almost killed me by giving me the wrong meds. They prescribe pretty much everyone with Lexapro and on my third day of taking it, the pill form was different. I thought maybe it's a different brand. It caused a severe allergic reaction. Told the nurses I wasn't feeling good, said my mouth is locking. They said just relax, drink some water." So I did. it got worse. My entire body was locked and twisted weirdly, with my tongue sticking out and everything. They just sat and watched until it got so bad I could hardly breathe. Then they called 911. Paramedics were awesome even though they had to rip my shirt off to get to my heart so that sucked. I got a DNA test after I was discharged to see what drugs I'm allergic to. Not lexapro. The only drug I'm allergic to is a type of anti-psychotic. My assigned "doctor" was horrible. Didn't know my name, met with me only 2 days before my discharge date. Meeting lasted 3 minutes tops. Barely looked at me. Great place to get traumatized and milked like a living breathing cash cow. read more

by far the worst hospital i have had the misfortune of having a family member admitted to. the level if incompetent employees is shocking. they had zero clue what they were doing and had no idea what was going in. i would also wait days on end for a call back that would never come. the social worker (courtney) was clueless and should not hold a position in the workplace. she communicated numerous crucial details incorrectly which my family was basing life decisions on. do not come here-it is a nightmare of a place. read more

If you or your child is being recommended to go here, do not. With all seriousness; this place brings trauma and trust issues. WARNING: this is a long, detailed story for the review purpose. My story: this took place 9/22/22 at 10pm. I was feeling really alone, especially since my boyfriend had been out all day. (Mind you im 15 now.) I took around 20-25 pills of ibuprofen because of the overwhelming alone feeling to try and get rid of it, but clearly I didn't think about the consequences. I later told my boyfriend because I was freaking out and he called my mom. My mom and stepdad were pretty disappointed and even were my boyfriends parents, leading me to not say anything to them. We went to Christ Hospital in evergreen and they were horrible, but that's for another review. They told my parents that they were going to take me to Silver Oaks and my parents tried their hardest to keep me with them. They legit even asked what would happen if they left to go home with me but they threatened to call DCF on them, so it wasn't a choice but to take me to silver oaks. When i got there (mind you, this is at 9 am), I was still in a hospital gown. They had me squat and cough, basic things to make sure I wasn't smuggling anything in me. (Racially motivated..joking lol) when I got into the Adolescent facility, I was beyond scared sh*tless. The only nice tech that helped me get comfortable were Rachel(wavy hair blonde white girl) and Peyton (tall Hispanic guy). The kids looked nice, all my age, but some were really mental. Others just made me chuckle under my breath. I felt like the only sane one there. Rachel and another tech named Oscar told me how things worked around there but they said I looked tired (which I was because I hadn't slept in 24 hours) so I went to sleep at 1pm. The next 9 days were hell. I didn't know ANYTHING about hospitals like these so I didn't have a clue on what to do. I just did what all the other kids did which was either okay cards all day or draw. The schedule went something like this: Wake up at 5 in the morning for vitals. Don't sleep. Breakfast at 7. Line up or stay and draw. When done in the cafeteria, pocket checks because we don't want any contraband. Go back upstairs in a packet elevator. Draw for an hour. School time, be smart. After that, group therapy. Next, lunch and if we were good, we'd go outside. Go back inside and draw and play cards until dinner. Dinner time arrives, same thing. Goodnight at 9pm. It SUCKED. I had my blood taken the second day being there, the girl did not know how to do it at all. The spot was bruised for 3 weeks. Everything went with the schedule, with 1 or 2 friends with many enemies and annoying kids. There was fights, not to mention. One of the kids fought someone for being racist, and another fight was because a white boy thinks he's black, which was super funny until he got the bootyjuice (sedative shot in the cheeks..) I saw several doctors within my 10 day stay. None of them knew what I had done nor what my name was. It was frustrating retelling my story. Also, the front desk nurses were rude, aswell as the nurse who gave meds. I had only melatonin to take since the place gave me nightmares(which it still does) and maybe 3 or 4 days into the stay, they tried to give me vitamin D pills and some unknown pill that NONE OF THE STAFF knew about. The group therapist didn't really help, he just talked about cope skills which weren't in any of my interest. Let's talk about my discharge day. I was super excited. I basically got to take the day off (besides group therapy). I had all my things packed (drawings, clothes my parents brought from home, and bags) I was super happy to see my parents again because they only offered visitations through zoom calls or the facility phones. They have me in therapy now instead of outpatient because it was a 40 minute drive there and another 40 mins back. DONT SEND ABY OF YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS PLACE.
