Projects included: Removing door and jam and drywalling over the entrance, he also did several other drywall patching. He installed our hood fan, hung several hooks, added shelving to our closets and laundry room. He also added moldings along our baseboards and refaced our dated 1990's fireplace with fluted wood paneling. Dave, was true to his name, very dependable! They still have not showed up, as of Jan. 10 although we have paid for the month of Jan. Very poor management and very poor customer service. Items like mouldings and baseboard are seriously overpriced at box hardware stores. It's worth the visit to Timbertown. We've also ordered Canadian oak hardwood here and were really impressed with the consistency and length of the boards. My dad has done a number of hardwood flooring installs and commented that this was the nicest wood he's laid. We've always found the customer service at Timbertown to be friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out and easy to browse and the staff really go out of their way to offer assistance.

We set up a time to meet with Craig MacArthur (owner) so he could look at our requirements. He came precisely at the time he said he would, took down the info needed and got back to us with an estimate for the job. Although our job was 'just' a fence about 150 linear feet, Craig gave the project and our requests no less attention. He always answered any calls or emails promptly or made a trip out to talk to us directly. We had requested that this work be done in the early spring of this year while the ground is still frozen in hopes it would cause less damage to the landscaping on either side of the fence. Come the last week in April, the fence was 'happening'. Ten hours later we were the proud owners of a new fence. Our experience with Red Isle Contracting was completely seamless from start to finish.
