Sylvester and his team really went above and beyond my expectations! I needed two oak trees pruned and canopies lifted to allow more light into my small yard. I also needed two crape myrtles basically halved so new growth would start much lower. They also removed rugged new growth and a spikey shrub. The left my yard spotless! He gave us a very thorough and extremely fair free estimate, was able to let us book for the very next week, and did an utterly superb job. The transformation is miraculous....our place looks like a new house! We gave them a big to-do list: tree-trimming, dead branch removal, and ball moss removal on ALL the trees on our property, root removal, bush/stump removal, and even a tree-swing hanging that they kindly did...drumroll...for FREE because, as Sylvester said with a shrug "we'll be up in the branches anyway!" Everything Sylvester and his crew did was so thoroughly and carefully done--they saw to every detail (even things we didn't even consider ourselves!), and the place looks so clean and beautifully manicured. Silver Tree is great. Sylvester responds so quickly to messages and has completely the work I have needed done in a very timely manner. Last year a huge tree fell on our house, he and his guys had it cleaned up in 2 days. He just came out and removed poison ivy from our yard. He dug out the roots on both sides of the fence to keep it from coming back. I noticed two sneaky little vines that were hiding after they had left. Sylvester came back by and took care of them. I would like to add to the positive reviews for Silver Tree service! Sylvester was quick to answer my inquiry email and was even able to come out to give me an estimate same day! He was professional, listened to our needs and made up a very affordable quote. We just wanted 3 big trees around our home trimmed up and some clearance over the roof of our home. We booked him to come back with his crew a few weeks later to do the job. They arrived on time and got right to work, it was quite a sight! They made sure to take safety precautions and hauled everything away. They were done in about 3 hours. I always shop around for the best deals and the best service and I did with this job as well. Other companies gave me unreasonable quotes. I have had my trees trimmed before and I have about 6 trees around my house. This round I only needed 3 done so I knew roughly what to expect. I can't say enough about Sylvester and his crew. Our trees are now trimmed to HOA standards and look incredible. I asked about liability coverage as the two large red oaks that died after the snow apocalypse were both very near the house. He texted me the information I needed. We are very pleased with the quality of tree pruning and trimming that Silver Tree Service performed on our four live oaks. This is the second time in two and a half years that we have used Silver. The owner quoted the job personally and was on site to oversee his crew and to do much of the tree work himself. The company cleans their tools with a disinfectant and they apply black tree wound sealer to the pruning cuts. They lifted the canopy to allow more sunlight to reach the grass and the flower beds. They hauled off all debris and left the yard and driveway clean. They showed up on time and were efficient and professional which is why we will use them again. Our neighbor also used Silver and they did her trees, repaired a fence and dressed up a large flower bed. Top notch company well deserving of five stars. read more

I had some trees needing trimming from the rooflines of my house, and my usual tree guy was booked for two months. I sought 4 free estimates and Silver Tree not only had the best price, but was the most professional and punctual. After the job, I noticed a small detail that was missed and they came back to finish. I felt bad they had to come back so offered a small side job of bush trimming while they were here. Extremely responsive and reasonable on their rates. I had initially reached out to another company where I was going to have to wait over a month for the work to be done. I reached out to Silver Tree and got an estimate on a Thursday and by Saturday they came out to do the work. They did a great job in removing a large cedar tree as well as some very large shrubs. They came out, gave a quote to trim several trees. But when it came down to the actual work, I had to ask, over and over, aren't you going to take care of those branches we talked about before. I had to ask this on several different branches. And they charged us $450, w/o completing the job we had verbally discussed. I know, I know. GET IT IN WRITING!!!!! So now I've had to hire someone else to actually complete the job. This a rip-off. read more

Sylvester and his crew with Silver Tree Services removed a large hackberry tree that had grown into my fence and close to power lines. Not an easy job but I couldn't be happier with their work.
