Since it has now been 9 months without completion, I have given up. I've had calls, texts and emails go unanswered on an incomplete work agreement signed on 12/19/23 by Water Plus, when payment was rendered for work done in my home in Lebanon, TN. We were told each time a discussion was had, that they would make right by us and we would have our home back better than when they started. Water Plus began work on a renovation in the downstairs of our home on 9/8/2023. There were numerous issues through the process with communication, work having to be repeated due to quality issues, further details will be outlined below. There are currently 15 incomplete work items agreed to address as well as 11 items so poorly done that a review from a licensed general contractor states it would not pass an inspection and would need to be redone rather than repaired. Photos will indicate the quality of work. Unfortunately we are out over $40,000 and left with a home that is a constant stressor of incomplete work and wasted money. The stress this caused my family during the initial construction has been immeasurable due to the headache and issues we had during and after construction. Incomplete Work Agreement 1. 3 Drawers to left of stove - replace the face due to mis-drilled for hardware - was told these were on order and several other excuses for why they were not completed 2. Top drawer to right of stove, cabinet crooked and misaligned 3. Corner cabinet is misaligned, door is crooked and difficult to close 4. Cut in over microwave (there is a board just added to cover hole) 5. Door over microwave 6. Crown molding completed with nail fill-in and paint 7. Door pulls on island - install complete (mis-drill that was poorly filled in and not communicated still incomplete for new drawer) 8. . Paint A . Cabinet baseboards - Partially completed B. Ceiling 9. Ceiling lights - you can see the holes 10. Drawer above trashcan alignment 11. Grout on backsplash, misalignment of tiles, needs to be completely redone 12. ¼ round by garage door 13. Molding around island legs 14. Damaged rubber floor mats in the garage promised to be replaced 15. Paint damage to grass and stepping stones and cleaning of paint on garage floor Poor craftmanship, installation, and work quality items: 1. Cabinetry is misaligned in uppers 2. Upper cabinets all have skid marks on each door with scuffs that cannot be wiped down and are easily visible 3. Sink base is 5/8" deeper on left side of the sink and base cabinets are uneven 4. Cabinet doors and drawers are 1/2" off at the seam to the lazy susan corner cabinet 5. Grout installed is too dry and crumbles, unable to wipe backsplash due to black dust and stain trailing behind. Completely broken off between the countertop and tiles 6. Paint on the walls around the trim of every door is a different color than the rest of the walls and is poorly painted 7. Two of the doorknobs for the entryway into the kitchen from the garage were damaged 8. The front glass door had the handle and doorstop broken off 9. The flooring in the kitchen is off and 3 of the floorboards are separating 10. Crown molding in the corner on the uppers over the lazy susan is cut crooked and installed incorrectly 11. Side pieces of the cabinetry are coming off by the back door and next to the sink 12. Incorrectly drilled holes in the drawer of the island. Promised several times that the island cabinet would be replaced and was on order Non-exhaustive list of other issues 1. Not showing up at agreed upon times/days despite frequent communication and agreement for me to take days off work or work from home so I would be at home 2. The flooring had to be redone twice because the subcontractors ruined it. I ended up paying to start from scratch and buying all new flooring. The subcontractor told me that the flooring we had could not be done with high quality based on our budget. That we would have to pay more to have the quality done well and on time. 3. We spent Thanksgiving in a hotel unexpectedly due to errors they made with the flooring and re-staining the stairs. We were sick from fumes 4. The island was built incorrectly and painted improperly. I was told that I'm wrong and it is fine and good to go. Todd came to my home and insisted they would make it right and redo it all and I'd be whole and happy. They made it incorrectly a second time so I drove out of town and ordered a different set of cabinets and paid for it again. They refused to refund the cabinet I paid $3200 for them to custom build. 5. The partners had arguments in my home with one of them leaving the house cursing and slamming our front door. 6. I was talked down to by Todd frequently I would never recommend doing business with this company, Todd Hill or Mike Pugh.

Quick response: I called and they answered and were able to set up an appointment the following day. 2. Timeliness: Preston actually arrived between 12-1pm like he said he was. 3. He came and took a look and offered his time and expertise to answer some of our mold questions. 4. He said our problem was small. Unfortunately, they only do tear out and drying, (which we were going to do ourselves) but not replace the sheet rock. 5. If we ever have a situation we're we needed some serious drying power or tear out, I will definitely remember IRS/Independent Restoration Services and give them a call.
