Okay, its been 10 years since they replaced my roof and with the recent ice storm I had a leak. Paid extra for ice shield but not sure if they installed it properly. They sent out a representatives to look at my leak and the first thing he said was thar my roof is 10 years old like that matters because the last time we had an ice storm was when they installed my roof. Google it but the ice shield should last as long as the roof. Last, the ice shield was extra when I purchased the costly engineered shingles. True 30 year shingles if installed properly. Not sure if this is a company you can truly trust or rely on. I am sure they have an excuse for every issue you experience after the fact. Good luck.... read more

David, the crew lead man, had those guys moving. It was a well orchestrated operation. I heard them pounding away for a few hours, and then before I knew it, they were done. The pounding had stopped, and I heard them dragging the nail magnet. I walked out of the house and said to myself, "Whoa dude, they're done!" I had expected it to be a lot longer. Their clean-up was immaculate. You wouldn't have known that anyone had been there. This is a top-notch, well run operation. You shouldn't have any reservations on having them put a lid on your house. Now all we need is a good hearty rain to test their work. Quick Tip: With all the pounding and noise going on, you may want to give your pets a chill pill to keep them from going nuts. Materials were delivered on time allowing the work to begin on time. AND get completed in one day. Cleanup was complete and with a dog in the yard this is really important. This not the right company to use for roofing repair. The guys that came out seemed professional at first but i soon realized that they were afraid to go up on the roof to assess the problems because of the steep pitch. (After all they are roofers right) After all was said and done they presented me with a bill of over $350. for a report of nonsense. There was no follow up at all as their technicians said they needed to talk to there superiors as far as a quote. I called to find more information only for them to say the scope of work was beyond their capability. So if you want to get a bogus roofing assessment report call these guys. read more

This company scammed me after my home was hit by hail. My insurance company, Allstate refused to pay for the roof. I was at my wits end and had a hard time finding help. These guys swooped in like they were going to rescue me, took 2 years to get the mediation and work done, took $113,000 from my insurance company then gave me a roof and a dented metal turret in colors I didn't want and left $37,000 of work not done including gutters and fascia (still damaged, in fact more damaged by them). Then they had the audacity to file a lien against my home for another $5,700 that they claim I owe them. FRAUD AVOID THESE GUYS! read more

This company installed our roof on a large remodel done in 2013. It "looks" beautiful. However when installing a porch roof they created a leak into a master bedroom, it rained into that room while the house was vacant and caused major damage. We consistently get large amounts of water flowing backwards onto this porch & it has caused a beam to rot We called a trusted waterproofing specialist and they showed us how the improper length & placement of shingles was causing this damage. He pointed out their attempt to make a quick fix of bad work by trying to fill in with caulking. We called 5 Points to ask them to come out and take a look and they refused. They said they offer no warranties or guarantees on their work after a year & repairs are not an option. After the thousands of dollars worth of floor & furniture damage they caused you would think they would agree to help us out. Poor workmanship coupled with poor customer service.....Choose any other company than this one. read more

Last November, we called Five Points to repair our porch roof that had a leak. The porches have metal roofing. They quickly came out and looked at it and said yes we can take care of that. Then they suggested that they look at the roof on the main part of the house to make sure there were not any loose shingles. After that they said we needed an entire new roof. They said they would get in touch with our insurance company and that we should have no problem getting approval for a new roof. We didn't have any known issue with our roof but we took their word for it. They submitted the claim and it was approved. Long story short, 6 months later.....They replaced the roof on the main part of the house, but have yet to replace the part of the roof that was our original problem. They have told my husband that insurance did not approve that part of the roof. So they got their money for the roof that, who knows whether or not really needed replacing, In addition, they were very sloppy with throwing shingles around. Left them piled and killed a lot of the grass in the front yard. My husband found nails on our driveway. They didn't tarp the roof well and it rained one day and leaked leaving a water stain that they said was there before and it was not their fault. So, we are left with the original leak, have to replace grass in the front yard and have someone do drywall and paint to fix the stain in our den ceiling. Now they are doing our next door neighbors roof and we have shingles all over our driveway and probably nails too. I asked them this morning not to throw the shingles onto our driveway and they just ignored me. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company. read more
