Watching tree work used to cause a lot of anxiety but not with this company. It is a lot of money to remove a lot of big trees, but when matched against the amount of work, the skill and peace of mind, it ends up a very good deal. It's my understanding they do land development and if I go down that road, I'll call them for this as well. I have a feeling they can do anything.

I had a quote from another company last fall to do a pool fill in, but I went with Holloway because…read morethe cost was less. The fill in was completed in one day, which was very nice. The topsoil that was brought in was pretty bad. It had trash (metal, socks, plastic, rocks) and within a couple of weeks, I had a masssive amount of pig weed, which I am still battling. I also didn't think to ask about sloping for drainage, which was included in the other quote but was evidently not part of this one. so the run off was pretty bad, leaving gulleys, ditches and standing water after heavy rains. I had to spend a considerable sum to get someone to grade and install a culvert. Again, the fill in itself was good. Just be sure you ask about where the topsoil comes from and how drainage will be dealt with if you use this company.

He had other jobs already scheduled but was able to come by on Sunday afternoon. (I had shut off everything I could think of so the leak had stopped. Was afraid it was the toilet by the kitchen.) He was able to arrive an hour earlier than he expected which was great. Long store short... he was able to diagnose the actual problem (wasn't the toilet) and the issue was resolved. Very professional, very knowledgeable, very personable. Nice guy and the cost was actually less than I expected for an emergency weekend plumbing call.
