This is the ONLY place I will go to to get my eye brows threaded. I have been going to Simky's for years!!!! I used to drive from Boca specifically to come here because of how incredible they are. The threading is quick, efficient, and my eyebrow shape always comes out perfect!! The pricing is not bad either, I believe it is around $16-18 for eyebrow threading. As good as their threading service is, this place is EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE with their store hours. Online hours say one thing, hours on the door say another, and the reality is that it is unpredictable. There are 2 numbers one the door which one is a legit number. Sign on the door says open from 10am - 6pm, I pull into parking lot after work @ 5:45pm and unsurprisingly, they are closed. "Walk ins welcomed" but at your own risk. Shake my head. read more

Unprofessional. I scheduled Microblading 2 times with her only to have her cancel & come up with an excuse both times. She told me to text her to remind her of the appointment! Recently moved to Ft. Lauderdale area and despite it being Covid time and all, my eyebrows desperately needed some love and care so I decided to try out the closest place to me which was Simky's. I am so glad I walked in and had my eyebrows done because Rubina did such a great job at them. The place was very clean. Chairs were kept at a distance and when I went, including Rubina, there were only 2 other clients there and everyone was wearing a mask. This really eased the anxiety about beautifying myself in these times lol. When it was my turn, Rubina made sure to wipe the seat down with alcohol, used hand sanitizer and to top it off, she did not at any point put the thread in her mouth. Most people when doing eyebrow threading use their mouth to hold the thread, but she had it tied around the neck. I am sure it was uncomfortable for her, but I really appreciated the precautions she took to ensure her and the clients' safety. Now moving on to the eyebrow shape, she did an exceptional job. They look a lot better. No cuts or bruises in the process which I get often from other people. She is meticulous, made sure to show me the progress several times and asked me what I wanted, rather than just do as she pleased. She was also very friendly which is a definite bonus. She only works on Thursday at this location so gotta keep that in mind when I need my eyebrows done next. read more

Simky's is a quaint little Brow Bar located right off 17th street in a plaza right before the huge Cordova Publix plaza. Parking is directly outside the small venue. The first time I visited Simky's I made an appointment; however, I just did a walk in and no one was in line ahead of me. I don't think appointments are necessary! If anyone has read my review of Green Wave in Weston, then you'll understand I'm super picky and particular about my brows- minimal threading but keep the shape and thickness. I was very disappointed with Green Wave and I was nervous to go back to threading. But Simky's is affordable and she understands my pickiness ! The worst service you can expect to have ! BEWARE !!!! Simky will come off all sweet and nice at first but TRUST she is a pure SNAKE . The minute she get's an influx of new clients she will treat old customers like trash ! I had been going to her for over a year when suddenly one day in a crowd full of other customers she got extremely rude and Nasty with me simply because I asked if she had wiped down the chair she wanted to service me in since it was Covid . So I thought maybe this place was more authentic and going to be good because of how mom and pop it looks. And I had gone in the past and it was ok. But let me tell you the last time I went there it was disgustingly dirty. There were kids toys, dirt and clothes all over the floor. They were running around barefoot. As far as the service they did not use any sterilization or wipe down my brows beforehand. The job was ok not anything crazy. But the quality of the place is just even worse.
