However, the second visit erased any doubts I had about the systemic issues at this office. This time, I came prepared with insurance, yet I was still made to feel as though I was asking for charity. I waited for an unconscionable 90 minutes past my appointment time without a single word of explanation. When I sought clarity, I was met with dismissiveness so cutting that I left the office without even being asked if I wanted to reschedule. But let me be clear: no amount of kindness in the back office can compensate for outright hostility and mistreatment at the front. I am an educated, discerning professional, and I demand better.
