But over the course…read moreof ten years the shape of my nose started to change, looking larger, drooping at the tip, and one area near the top of my nose becoming hollow. I recently had a revision rhinoplasty performed with another doctor, where I learned that my nasal bones were completely collapsing. The cartilage in my nose was filled with so much scar tissue, along with blue stitches that should never have been left in my nose permanently. Luckily, my doctor was able to remove the scar tissue and the stitches, and restore my nose to a healthy state. I know many other people who have had rhinoplasties with Dr. Gordon and all have needed revisions. I actually went back to Dr. Gordons office a few months before I had my revision to see what he thought of what was happening to my nose, and all he did was tell me that "I am fine and to go home". Dr. Gordon should not be performing rhinoplasties on anyone. He has a horrible bedside manner and is performing surgeries that are way out of his scope of expertise. This is malpractice.

Had rhinoplasty…read moresurgery with Dr.John Farella (Plastic Surgeon) years ago and started getting debilitating sinus headaches for years afterward. Never had any such issues prior to the surgery. In addition to that I had several structural issues that were extremely noticable including a retracted nostril, a dent on one side of my nose, and another dent above that, all which were on one side of my nose. My tip had two bulbs on it, one on the left, one on the right. Horrific result. This time I went to NYC to a top surgeon to have it fixed. He ordered a CT scan and the results of it were scary. It showed my sinus cavity on the right side was completely black. Black, as in no structures could be seen within that side. The surgeon told me, he would do his best to correct the structural issues, but that given the complex nature of my sinus issues & CT scan result, I would need to have a second surgeon work on my sinus issues. For my revision surgery I had to have two doctors work to fix what they could. I learned after this surgery that Farella had butchered my internal structures. I had every issue you could imagine. Deviated septum, turbinate issues, and a few others that were all the cause of my terrible sinus headaches for years. Farella's website says he corrects anyone with these issues, from my experience I know that to be absolutely false, and in fact he caused these issues for me. After I saw the prominent surgeon in NYC the outward appearance was improved, but not able to be fixed. As far as my sinuses are concerned I have to deal with congestion and runny nose on a regular basis, they will never be the same again. It is one thing to make a minor mistake as a doctor, but it is an issue of character to cause permanent harm to your patients medically. To intentionally suture up your patient on the operating table knowing that you are leaving them with a deviated septum (that is very easy to see) and other issues, which he knows would cause pain to that patient at some point in the future. I wouldn't only avoid rhinoplasty with this Farella. Since the issue of character is the most disturbing part, I warn others to not choose this surgeon for any procedure.

It was determined with her that I would be having a bilateral mastectomy and elected to have reconstruction using my own body tissue. Although there are many options for reconstruction, this seemed the best fit for me. I had only one obstacle. I had become very thin at the time. The stress of life and this new medical challenge had gotten to me, and I dropped weight rapidly. So, could I find a great reconstruction surgeon that could help me in this situation? That terrific breast surgeon suggested that I add Dr. Vasile to my list of reconstruction surgeons that I was interviewing. She had nothing but amazing compliments about her. Prior to selecting a specialist for my series of complicated surgeries, I met with eight reconstruction surgeons in order to find the perfect fit for my circumstances. During our initial consultation, it became obvious to me that Dr. Vasile was by far the best fit for my medical team. Don't let her petite stature and softspoken demeanor fool you. Dr. Vasile is a powerhouse of a surgeon. She is intelligent, a pioneer in her field, proficient at complex surgery, consistent, thorough and has a proven track record. However, she is not all business. Dr. Vasile is dedicated to her patients in every way. She is gifted at performing surgeries on individuals that are going through life-changing periods in their lives. It made my entire experience less stressful just knowing that I could reach out to Dr. Vasile at any time if issues arose post-surgery. Unlike other offices, you always communicate with her. You are not sent to another physician who is covering. It made a big difference for me considering I had multiple surgeries and preferred to attain my advice directly from Dr. Vasile if I had a question or concern. My experience was the best possible scenario I could have asked for. I will admit, although I never show certain emotions, I was nervous at every surgery I have undergone, except when Dr. Vasile has overseen the ER. I always have full confidence that everything will go perfectly when she is in charge. Breast reconstruction is a very personal matter. I have struggled since I was a child with post nasal drips daily, sinus infections, difficulty breathing, and smelling. Dr. Lisiecki not only is an artist who made me feel more confident with a nose that compliments my facial features but I now have a functional nose, which is incredible. I also had a second procedure with Dr Lisiecki, a breast revision due to bottoming out and scar tissue. Dr. Lisiecki was confident and able to perform my breast revision with a mesh graft (internal bra) correcting all my concerns and placing my implants where they should've been placed originally, by a previous surgeon. I ended up getting lip fillers, fillings by my crows feet, tattoo removal and micro-blading. I'll list each one for those patients interested in anything I got. Tattoo Removal- I am currently on session 3 and my tattoos are practically gone. The lasering is painful regardless of numbing for me, but it is so fast that it doesn't make it a big deal. Comes to about 30 seconds for me. First I saw Caitlyn and now I see Katie and each person I have seen has been wonderful and informative. Fillers- Lip was easy, I bruised for the first week but the results lasted longer than the anticipated. My lips were nice and full for a little over a year. My crows feet didnt last long but for me they were my smile lines and totally expected. Microblading- Again, kind of painful. It was a process and my stomach growled the entire time. Katie and I both laughed about this which told me that I need a burger before my next session. I was told the results would last about 1yr. l still have full brows and its been about 2+ years since that time frame and people compliment me often on my brows and I have caught people talking about how nice they actually look. Dr Fugo and his staff work on not just creating a great relationship with their patients but also on the work that they do and it shows. Update: 3 years, almost $20k paid to a different surgeon to fix my body later, I finally built up…read morethe courage to post the photos of how my body looked after Dr. Fugo did my tummy tuck and convinced me I only needed to have lipo on my chest & that their would be little to no excess skin because of the lipo he claimed to use that would help retract the skin. I received a final cease and desist letter this week from his attorney after I posted a truthful review of my experience. I feel the only way to validate my story is to post the photos as proof of my claims of receiving horrible results to not only be truthful but to help someone else not endure what I went through. IMO i receivers horrible results. Most of the photos were taken between the 6-18 months post op mark of tummy tuck and lipo on my chest. I feel instead of sending threatening letters it would have been better to reach out and offer an apology and own up to the fact that maybe you didn't do a good job, and realistically offer some sort of refund. We are humans and make mistakes because no one is perfect but receiving the letter further caused emotional damage due to the fact that I am being nothing but truthful and have no malicious intent. This is my story, my body therefore I deserve to share it. I believe the photos below serve as vindication. Maybe some people won't feel the results were horrible but in my opinion they are. I have plenty more photos all of which are time stamped and can be validated. As I stated below: I was NOT offered a free revision I was told it would be 7k additional for him to fix his work. I was told that was a discount since I was HIS patient. It took me over 2 years to save enough money to have another surgeon FIX what Dr.Fugo was paid to do. Original Review: Horrible results. I had a tummy tuck and he recommended liposuction on my chest after massive weight loss and made my chest look 10x worse than it was. I feel the tummy tuck was botched, the incision was too short (which he admitted it was and needed to be extended) leaving me with a tremendous amount of excess skin in my flanks/ abdomen. When I called the day after my tummy tuck because I was experiencing issues that were not normal it seem like I was being a bother. IMO his bedside manner prior to the procedure was incredible but after the procedure he had a totally different attitude during follow ups when I addressed my concerns. I spent over $16k on the procedure and when I went in for a follow up he told me the incision needed to be extended and I would have to pay another 7k for him to fix HIS MISTAKE. I left and endured mental and emotional trauma for this, I had many emotional nights and couldn't even look in the mirror. I had to spend almost another 20k for a doctor to correct the mess he made. Thank God I found a doctor that was able to do a revision and fix the disaster that was made.I was ashamed to even post the pictures of the way Dr.Fugo left my body after the procedure with him but now I had no choice but to share them to help someone else who is choosing a surgeon. Too bad I wasn't one of the lucky patients that apparently had a good experience with him. My opinion is my opinion, my story is my story. I will let the after photos speak for themselves.
