Dr. Nicole Nemeth was recommended to me by a colleague who had recently successfully undergone arm reduction surgery (brachioplasty). I looked at her arms and minimal scarring and I was sold!!! So I went for a consultation with Dr. Nemeth and I knew that I had found the right surgeon for this procedure. She is EXCELLENT!!! Very honest, straightforward and confident but yet warm and down to earth. I loved her approach. As a plus size woman who had recently lost a decent amount of weight I was left with gigantic, shapeless, sagging arms that were unsightly in even long sleeve garments. I often had to buy larger size clothes to accommodate my very huge arms!!! When I met with Dr. Nemeth she told me that she could definitely make my arms smaller but she couldn't give me the sculpted, Michelle Obama arms that I requested--sigh. Although somewhat disappointed, I knew that my request was unrealistic so I simply asked her to remove as much as possible. I then decided to schedule the surgery. On the day of the procedure everyone there was FANTASTIC!!! The nurse, the other doctors, even the secretary acted as if I was family. It was a great feeling. The procedure took several hours and went as expected. I was escorted to my car in a wheelchair by a very caring, sympathetic nurse. Several hours later after returning home I learned the true meaning of PAIN!!!!! Ohhhhhhh my goodness!!!!! The pain was awful!!! HOWEVER, Dr. Nemeth gave me all of her contact information including her personal cell phone number so I didn't have to handle the situation alone. She was ALWAYS AVAILABLE!!!! Several weeks later I was able to unveil my beautiful new arms at my 50th birthday party and I couldn't be happier!!!! See attached before and after pictures. I was scheduled for an underarm laser treatment. The appointment was made the week prior and I arrived 30 minutes early. Shortly after being invited into the examination room I was told that they didn't have a machine for dark skin and that the intake person did not screen during my call when scheduling my appointment. My disappointment lies not only with the fact that manufacturers make limited machines to work with dark skin and the poor practice of not "screening" clients, but in this company's refusal to invest in laser machine that works with all skin complexions. To invest in a laser machine that limits its work to white skin also limits their client base. Perhaps, this is just short sightedness. read more

I came here after a very unfortunate facial treatment experience that I had at another place in Manhattan. My face got so swollen after the procedures that I had to see a medical specialist. I drove to Plastic Surgery of Westchester without making any appointments and told the receptionist I had an emergency situation. The woman was extremely kind and understanding: I was offered a free consultation with their licensed aesthetician Wendy. It was my lucky day. Wendy took some time to listen to my story and then even more time to calm me down and explain what might have happened and why my face reacted the way it did. She did not push any services or products on me, even the opposite: she told me to let my skin recover, maybe make a self-made avocado mask after the swelling goes down.
