By far the most unprofessional real estate office I've ever used. I rented a house through their…read moreagent, Alison Barwick-Bissat, who represented the owner. She was pleasant enough to deal prior to our arrival, but was nearly unresponsive when we had issues with the rental - no air conditioning, pool heater not working, etc. The owner of the property has illegally withheld our entire security deposit, and The Corcoran Group refused the respond to my repeated requests for the owner's contact information. Instead Alison Barwick-Bissat insisted on trying to mediate the dispute, which is expressly forbidden in the contract I signed. The entire transaction was a disappointment, and while 106 Halsey Lane is a nice home, I would never ever deal with that owner, with Alison Barwick-Bissat or with The Corcoran Group Southampton again.

She actually did the same to me where I rented 215 Roses Grove Road in Southampton NY. She was kind and pleasant to rent me the house and had a previous leak which was literally repaired before we got there (heaters still in the room to dry the ceiling) and of course the bathroom flooded while we were there, in the same spot where it was supposedly fixed prior to us getting there WAS leaking. She kept all of my security deposit claiming it's a whole different leak from the one prior, mind you it was leaking from the same spot. It's seems like it's a trend for Allison Barwick-Bissat to just do whatever to takes to keep your deposit. Do not rent from her, no matter how nice of a house she might have for rent. Stay far away from this lady! She's a con artist that takes advantage of innocent people. She's giving the Corcoran Group a poor image just by her being a part of the group - it's such a shame.
