I don't even know where to begin with my review for Simon. I've never met anyone who goes above and beyond. In fact that is an understatement. Simon made sure we didn't worry about a thing. And sure as heck we didn't worry at all. That sense of reassurance was always there. Even when we hit some stumbling blocks he ALWAYS made sure that everything will go well and as planned. During the first meeting Simon made a good impression, he was calm, supportive and transparent. We talked about what we wanted, that we were in no rush to find a house and what our budget was. I was skeptical that we were going to find something within our budget, but in his calm demeanor he reassured us that we would. Afterwards, he walked us through some of the paperwork and explained the process to us, which was a huge help later. He regularly kept us updated on what was available and sent us listings of properties that were within our budget and in the areas we were looking for. We have a large family and are very busy and Simon was always very understanding and accommodating with us. We never felt pressured while we were searching, and he always respected what we wanted. When we finally found something we liked he got right to work and helped us make an offer. The first offer didn't work out and we were a little discouraged, but Simon again, with his patient support, helped us get back to searching again. We found another house we liked and again he got right to work on our offer. He helped us negotiate a deal and we went into escrow. Once it came time to sign the papers it felt easy, I remember thinking "oh I remember this" over and over during the process. I had heard that buying a house was difficult and stressful, but having Simon helped make this process easier because he explained everything to us and we knew what to expect. I felt like our biggest difficulties came when it was time to move and even then, he offered to help us out with our issue. We didn't end up needing it, but it really helped to know he was there to help if necessary. WARNING: this review is a bit lengthy... I've known Simon for quite awhile now, and he's always been a down to earth type of guy, very easy to get along with. So when my wife and I were ready to purchase our home, we didn't think twice about asking Simon to guide us on our new journey. In our first meeting, he explained each category for buying a house and each type of loan. Buying a home for the first time is overwhelming, but Simon made it his priority to ensure our understanding of buying a home and what to expect. When it came time to shop around, my wife and I gave him the must have features for the home we wanted to purchase (i.e. number of bedrooms and bathrooms, type of layout, square footage, etc.). We did a bit of our own research within the range of our pre-approval. Simon would do some of his own to give us a comparison of the homes within our price range with the features my wife and I were looking for. No matter the distance or the price of a home, if we wanted to look at a house, he was there, no questions asked. One thing Simon told us was to make plenty of offers on homes, whether or not the price was within our range. "You never know, the owner might accept the offer. The worst they can say is no." Every time we asked, he took care of those offers right away. Of course our offers were close to the asking price. From start to end, Simon was there for us. He was the one fighting for us, taking the stress for us. I will always refer Simon when it comes to buying a home. read more

Simon would be the "last" person I'd use if I had to describe a stereotypical real estate agent. If you dealt with RE Agents, you'll know what I mean. He is truly the light through the tunnel for other fellow realtors, buyers and sellers out there. It's a diamond in the rough situation when it comes to finding an honest, competent and trustworthy professional in real estate in general. Hi I met Simon one afternoon at an open house in LA Palma Ca. At that time I was looking to buy a home and La Palma was at the top of the list.
