I was look for a shop to sizing my new stainless steel Fibit bends & for two days, I had calling everywhere some I knew in the past has watch stations, but all no longer, a shop show opens on google search, but no one answer calls, one call back but said too busy asked me to schedule future appts. :( Very lucky I found "Simon the jeweler" this shop located @ sand creek Raley's plaza, 3 doors from the UPS store, when I walked in, there standing a elegant gentleman, he's very fun to talk to. 2 thumbs up to jeweler-Simon, appreciated his skilled awesome professional works, my request was done in no time. This a very honest, reliable shop, located in Brentwood 94513, watch, jewelers repairs, buying jewelers or memorable gifts, please consider "Simon the jeweler" 1st. yes, I 100% recommended this business.

Simon is amazing! He has fixed the band on my Rolex, and recently took an old ring I had and created this. Highly recommend. Fast, Reasonable and communicative

Ring sized and added a Halo band, love it!

I've been married for 23 years and my wedding band needed to be resized. Simons knowledge, expertise, friendliness and fast service speak for themselves! He not only resized my rings but added some more bling, soldered the bands together and made the set look better then the original! I had an anklet repaired as well and everything was done within three days. I highly recommend.

I've been coming here for several years, I've bought wall…read moreclocks from him as well two floor clocks and had floor and many wall clocks serviced by Joe, and on more than one occasion I've dealt with Joe's attitude. He seems entitled and tell you what he thinks is a fair price. Really? The last time was the last time. I'd left the mechanical guts of a clock with him to be repaired while the chassis was being fixed by a woodcraftsman. This was the poor victim of a shipping fiasco by someone who had no business selling clocks. At the same time I "sold" two wall clocks to Joe that in exchange he would credit $100 toward the repair of the clock in question. Well, after several months, the woodcraftsman could not get around to repairing the chassis due to illness so I told Joe to toss the mechanical guts. He indicated they were really beyond repair anyway. Because the first clock could not be fixed due to the aforementioned woodcraftsman, I bought another and asked Joe to tune it up. At the same time, I brought in another clock and asked if he was interested in it. At first he offered $50, then $75. I told him no and left, but he followed me to my car and then offered $100 toward the second repair. I accepted it only because I knew he already owed me $100 toward the first repair which never happened. So I'd get $200 off the repair of the second clock. But on the claim tag, he noted only the price minus $100, which I planned to bring up with him when I came to pick up the second clock. Well, to my surprise, he could not remember the other two clocks I'd left with him. He asked where were they and I said they were in his possession, how would I know where he put them? Then when I described them and he suddenly remembered, he made a comment about not charging me storage fees for the first clock he'd held onto while I was waiting for the chassis to be repaired implying as if him dismissing the other $100 he owed me would be in exchange for the storage fees. Really? I explained to him it was not my fault the woodcraftsman could not repair the chassis of the first clock and insisted he credit $200 toward the repair, which he declined and argued with he and made some comment about me quibbling over $100. Really? He had three clocks of mine that were worth much more than $200, and yet I let him have them because I knew he'd either fix them and send them to a new home or use them for parts. He had the nerve to insist that the first $100 credit could only be put toward the repair of the first clock. Really? So, I asked him to give me back the two clocks that I'd left with him previously. He no longer had them. He had no response, other than to honor the first $100 credit, but rescind his offer on the additional $100 and give me the third clock back in spite. I left with him shaking his head in disgust and reprimanding me? Really? What the heck is this guy's problem? As others have noted, he seems perpetually angry. And greedy! And when I questioned the repair of the second clock because the pendulum bob was sitting too high in the cabinet and there was too much thread of the rod exposed, he told me I should worry about more important things. Really? Who the heck does this guy think he is talking to customers like this? Instead, stop taking the cheaper and lazy route and fix the clock as it was meant to be fixed with the pendulum bob sitting in the right position. He charged me several hundred dollars for this shoddy repair! Disgraceful! If anyone should be disgusted, it is me. His customer service is deplorable. He gets too personal and treats you like a child. Shame on you, Joe! I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on!

I really liked that this is a local family business with an honest and friendly approach. That is why I would rather drive ten minutes here and get the job done right.

I had a very valuable pearl necklace from my grandmother that was gifted to my mom, and the pearl strand broke. Paul examined the necklace and quickly assessed that it will need to be restrung and that the clasp is not damaged. After his assessment and me communicating how important it was to get it done the same-day due to another jeweler failing to compete the repair after two months of waiting, he shared that he can do it for us the same day and even waived the same-day fee due to the urgency of our request and the negative experience we had previously. I think his wife was at the cashier and she typed us a receipt. She was super sweet. I also liked that the front door is locked and you have to ring the doorbell to be buzzed in - made me feel safe to be inside. We left the jewelry shop and within an hour, Paul called to tell us it was ready. The pearl necklace looked brand new. Paul did an excellent job! We picked up the necklace, paid for it, and surprised our mom. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and professional work!
