My friend brought me back these beautiful earrings from Chile, and the posts were so thick they were irritating, and then one of the posts broke! I hadn't even had them for 24 hours, but I loved them so I was going to pay to have them repaired! I got on the keys to google my nearest jewelry repair. It was my first time at Antioch Jewelers because I am new in town. it turns out they had really great reviews and were just 5 minutes from my house! Already winning! The owner was extremely kind. Excellent customer service. He not only repaired the post, (which was a miracle to me by itself), he THINNED them so they would be more comfortable for my ears, and gave me beautiful new backs, as well as cleaned them to perfection. He went above and beyond what I asked! The thing I was worried about was the vibrant turquoise thread getting dulled from the cleaner. But no! He preserved their beauty and WALA! Check the pics! My watch needed a new battery. I looked on Yelp for a nearby jewelry repair shop and found that Antioch Jewelers were close to my house, so I gave them a call. They were very friendly and let me know that if I stopped by in the morning that they could replace the battery while I waited, which is what I did. They are very professional and had my battery replaced in just a few minutes. It's an expensive watch, so I didn't mind at all paying the $15 fee. A small price to pay for satisfaction and excellent customer service! I will definitely be back next time I need anything. read more

These guys are amazing!! I live in Fairfield and couldn't find any place closer that was as awesome as these guys! I needed to have my 54 yr old family heirloom appraised and I was nervous about leaving my ring with just anyone. I brought it all the way up here because I had read good reviews. When I got to the store I was told they needed to keep it overnight and I was confident that it would be safe. These guys are kind, knowledgable and reasonable. When I came to pick up my ring today it was ready. They didn't just give me my ring back with a sheet of paper printed from a computer. My ring was CLEANED and in a nice black velvet ring box. The documents were like a certificate. And guess what it only cost me $50!! I am beyond impressed with these guys! I highly recommend them. I will be going back for all my jewelry needs! Found this gem on Yelp and was not let down! Excellent craftsmanship. I had both of my wedding bands and engagement ring resized to make them larger and solder them together. I called around to compare quotes and his prices were a bargain. They were ready in a timely manner and when I came to collect them they were still a tad more snug than I would prefer. a gem of a find! I happened upon some old gold chains in my jewelery box as well as a pair of gold earrings and a broken bracelet. I see all these pop up stores and kiosks in the mall offering to buy gold. My cousin recently posted on Instagram a pic of a check for $600+ dollars she got for selling gold. That got me motivated. I found my old gold then I wondered what place do I go to and not get taken advantage of. So, I started researching. I went to the Better Business Bureau website and Antioch Jewlers/The Diamond Mynor was registered with the BBB. I decided to take my gold there and couldn't be happier with the amount they gave me! Not impressed...brought in 3 watches to have the batteries replaced and was told $10.00 a piece and it would take 3 hours. Ended up taking 3 days and was told that one of the watches would cost $10.00 more because it was harder than expected. I stated that he had quoted me a price after inspecting the watch and that is the price that i was going to pay. He reluctantly agreed and I picked up the watches. Upon inspecting my watches i noticed that all 3 were scratched on the back covers and surrounding areas. It is obvious that this jeweler does NOT have the proper tools to perform such battery replacements. Oh...one more thing, The owner tried to sell me a watch that was obviously fake (a knockoff) and claimed it was real. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it was a piece of crap. read more
