I came in to Simone's Jewelry today guided by the high recommendations of other Yelp reviews. After my experience with this store, I could not agree more with their high praise. I was actually heartbroken because I had lost the diamond stone in my engagement ring of 35+ years the day before, probably in a very large public swimming pool. After an hour of searching the pool, locker room and shower drains, the diamond unfortunately could not be found. To make matters worse, I could not take off either my wedding or engagement ring because of finger swelling. I was left with an empty sharp-pronged engagement ring that only reminded of the loss. I needed to find a local jewelry store who could perform ring removal quickly and safely. The staff at Simone's Jewelry were friendly, kind, and sympathetic. Teresa, the co-owner, offered water and snacks. She chatted with us while her husband, Brian attended to some other customers. A few minutes later, Brian took me behind the counter and was able to cut through the rings using a special jewelry saw and a guard for my protection. He made sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain. He deftly was able to liberate me from these tight rings. Brian recommended that I wait a while for my finger to return to normal size. He said he would be able to repair and resize the rings when I was ready. He would not accept fee or gratuity for performing this task. I will definitely use this jewelry store again! read more

The service here was very nice. I came here to get my watch battery replaced and turns out it wasn't my battery. However, they offered to have it analyzed and would let me know the cost. I was called back on the day they stated and was told, its fine but a certain motion isn't working. So I only had to pay for the battery. However, it seems that the watch is not OK and does just stop.. they said to fix it would cost more than 2/3 the cost of the watch and was not worth it. They used their watch repair person, so it wasn't their analysis, but were gracious enough to tell me, its just not worth spending the money. I like honesty. read more

Took three watches to Simone's for new batteries. Upon returning home my Raymond Weil watch didn't keep up on advancing the date and the crown turned with difficulty. Took it back. After a few days was told it was operating properly. Picked it up. After a few weeks the watch was still not keeping date. Took it back. This time I was told a "wheel" was broken inside the watch and it would take $85 to repair. Picked it up. I'll have the watch repaired elsewhere. Not a positive experience and 100 miles in four trips and I still need to pay to repair the watch. Just received a call from a local watch repair shop. The plastic stem was broken, the broken piece lodged in the watch gears and the entire movement needs to be replaced. When Simone's replaced the battery this was the first time the watch was opened and the watch worked perfectly until that time. Simone's Jewelry has denied any culpability. read more
