So its just over a year since I attempted to post my review of JVincent on yelp, where it was inexplicably rejected. So I am re-posting that review again as I did on Facebook. Plus, there is news to add. The experience was so effortless and comfortable (as originally stated last year) and I am happy to say that my lovely bride to be has received so many compliments on her ring as the design is somewhat unique that today we ordered my wedding band her diamond wedding band. So to say we are satisfied is an understatement. I will post an update when the rings arrive. Met Joe for the first time just a couple of weeks ago. First via phone call. What a great experience. He special ordered and FedEx'd over night, sight unseen an engagement mounting without hesitation, deposit or having even met me in person. And a reasonably expensive setting at his expense not knowing whether I would actually show up to see it. Having done some of my own research, the ring arrived the next day and Joe spend a significant amount of time addressing all of our concerns, questions and provided ample education on our potential purchase. No gimmicks no fluff just extremely honest, credible and verifiable information (for those who care to do their fact checking) about the issues being discussed. His main focus was to be certain he did not compromise quality and service and only sought to provide the best advice so we could be 100% confident in the purchase we might be making. No hard sell, no special deal if you buy today tactics, just a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. He takes his profession seriously and passionately and truly wants folks leaving 100% satisfied. A true local neighborhood kind of place. The bottom line is if you are looking to make a jewelry purchase or even just need advice, whether you are experienced in diamonds or need to be schooled a little, go take a look at what's out there and you will discover this place will be your last stop. read more

My first visit to J. Vincent Jewelers was one to remember. I was greeted by Joe's friendly staff who were all warm and welcoming. Looking at his displays, you knew the quality was there - beautiful pieces and a wonderful selection. I left with gifts that my 3 daughters absolutely love and know they will enjoy for years to come. I also brought jewelry to be resized and watch batteries that needed replacing and they were returned to me looking as new as the day I bought them. Lastly, I had brought a pair of gold earring that I hadn't worn in years because they had tarnished. I sadly thought that I had made a bad purchase and was sold fake gold. Joe took them to the back of the store and brought them back sparkling new. He educated me on why they tarnished and how to store them properly to avoid this occurring in the future. My first ring buying experience, excellent overall experience, felt like I was buying from an old friend, not a regular jeweler. Joe stayed long after closing time and took all the time in the world to explain everything in detail and make me feel comfortable, I went from little diamond knowledge to professional in one evening. When I had questions or concerns, they were answered and handled immediately with friendliness. Joe even invited me to his office in the back of the store to look at stones under a 'loop' and offered me a glass of wine from his collection. Great guy. Extremely satisfied with the customer service and quality of product at J Vincent. I wanted to get an engagement ring and they worked with me to make a great setting with a very high quality diamond within my price range. They were very flexible with pickup, etc. Later came back get the wedding bands - both my now-wife and I loved them and hers matched the engagement ring perfectly despite them not being a set. Finally, I decided to add a surprise halo to the ring as a gift later on, and Joe built a perfectly proportioned one on the current ring. He even let me ship the ring there (insured) since we're not super close to the store. We recently had a very pleasant experience at this store. We had a bracelet appraised at a few other shops in the area and didn't feel we were treated fairly. J Vincent was different, the staff was very friendly and informative. They wanted to take the bracelet to give us a better value. They did exactly what they promised at the timeline they said. Our result was that they outperformed the other businesses by over 3X the amounts and came through with all the promises. I very highly recommend this business as I am a very skeptical person toward giving a stranger something of value to.
