Corner of Aloma and Lakemont Ave in Winter Park. They do not make appointments for x-rays (all SimonMeds are the same way), so I was there at 8am when they opened. I was let known that there was, already, an hour wait. I did my registration process, paid my copayment and waited my turn. I had only been waiting for 30 mins when I was called. My daughter had 2 different appts for brain mri w & w/o contrast as well as, today, an appt for an echocardiogram. She stated what insurance she had and when we got there, we were told they were out of pocket- she had received two texts confirming her appt the day before and when we arrived they said they had left a voicemail the day before. Offices don't know what goes into planning for such an appointment and what has to be moved around and should have made an effort After accepting her insurance information while making the appt, that the Do Not take her insurance. Trying to make an appointment for an MRI and X-Ray was excruciatingly difficult. The person I spoke with was very slow and had a very strong accent. Spent almost an hour providing personal information. then she was scheduling me for two different dates to get the MRI and X-Ray done., then she had me the same day with an hour and a half between the X-Ray and the MRI. I asked where she was located and she said the SimonMed center. I really wanted to find out what State she was in but she refused. I figured SimonMed's appointment center is somewhere in a Pacific island. I'll wait for the X-Ray and MRI to get done with them but... Never AGAIN! read more

Office Experience - Clean and organized. No wait time. Knowledgeable staff member had paper work ready for us. Type of Care - Amazing. We thought we lost my mothers neckless and the staff helped us look for it . Good news we found it! Atmosphere - X-ray room is amazing. A message to Joe's wife, well done. Asking my 98 yr mother to look at the stars is brilliant. She loved it! Finally our X-ray technician Joe gets an A+ Thank you for your help! I went into SimonMed Imaging for an echocardiogram on August 7th 2024. This was at the 1915 Aloma Ave Winter Park, Florida 32792 location. I started off dealing with the front desk receptionist who was friendly but on a personal phone call using her headset and I overheard her having some odd conversation which was not appropriate for the work place. I was the only person in the waiting room and they were not busy from what I could see. Nobody came in or left while I was there yet it's extremely hard to get an appointment here. After waiting for several minutes a woman came out from the back and called my name. When I walked towards her into the hallway she was already walking back to the room. She didn't greet me or tell me where to go. She just rudely walked in front of me, then pointed to the door of the room. So I went into the room where she had some odd chit chat at best and then things got really weird. She asked me if I had ever had an echo before and I told her no. Then she asked me to lay on my side with my arm over my head in an extremely awkward position and she said, "RELAX"! I explained to her that it was not a position I could ever relax in. Then she proceeded to sit in her chair next to the bed while she held the wand in one hand and typed on her laptop with the other. I'm not sure if it's normal to ask a patient to lay down on their side for this type of scan or not? She pressed extremely hard into my rib cage with the bulbous plastic tool which is what measures the heart info. I was gritting my teeth the entire time but I didn't say anything to her. I don't think she needed to press so hard that it was painful but what do I know? She didn't communicate anything during the procedure. When she was finished, she told me the info would be sent to my doctor and I could get dressed and leave. Then she proceeded to get up and sit at a different desk in the room on the opposite side of the bed, and start texting on her phone while completely ignoring me. I left the room without so much as a word being spoken to me. As I was leaving the appointment I thought two things to myself. 1. what a weird experience. 2. SimonMed must have no management because their employees do whatever they want. I will not return to this SimonMed location. F- read more

I made an appointment for 3:45 PM, arrived there on time with a confirmation letter stating the time of the appointment and they told me that the appointment was for 3:30 PM and they couldn't see me after I drove almost an hour to get there. I would not recommend this location to anyone and I will report this issue to the highest person in charge. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. read more

I would have given it zero stars if it allowed me to. My appointment was at 3 p.m. And I arrived at 2:40; however, the receptionist told me that they are 30 minutes late, when I told her it would have been better to call and let me know it, in a very nasty tone she said why, for 30 minutes? In short, I waited until 3:45 until they called me and sent me to another waiting room, but nothing happened until 4 pm, when I couldn't bear it anymore and came out. I had my shoulder x-rays today. No appointment needed, just walk-in. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant as well as Joe who was my specialist. Joe as well as the receptionist (I did not catch her name) were both very personable and professional. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out was not much more than about 20-minutes. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. Very clean office, and again, very good experience for me. read more

I called about two weeks ago to make an appointment for x-rays and was told they do not take appointments for x-rays and I would have to walk in and was assured it would be no problem. On July 20@1140am I walk into Winter Park location and was refused service. I had taken time of work and told them I was told when I called I could just walking with no problem but I was still refused service. This is a very unprofessional way to run a medical facility and I have to say of all the years of taking others to appointments and going tom my own I have never experienced anything like this before. When I tried to call twice to make a complaint I was left on hold for long periods of time and the first time was transferred to a voicemail and second time left name and # and got email address to send complaint to.
