Their branding stuck out so much amongst the traditional southern branding on the other stores, I had to see what they were talking about in there. Their signs said that they were a DIY trucker hat bar and although I can't comfortably fit hats over my big hair, I wanted to see what they had. When I stepped in, I knew I quickly became a new fan. It was adorable in there!! Being a girly girl who loves color and whimsy, Mess Hall was just that. There were colorful patches, buttons and so much more displayed around the store. Beyond trucker hats, guests can also make custom notebooks and tote bags. I was tempted to make a tote bag but didn't think I had the time to really dedicate like I wanted to. I do happen to love cute patches and collect them for my family in hopes of customizing some things for us in the future. So I snagged a few at $5 each and can't wait to use them. The date of the release of the item was to be 12/4 but I took my chances it would have dropped early. The store itself was a mess. I saw a pair of leggings that would match the sweater I wanted. Except my size wasn't on display. However I noticed a bunch of them had fallen on the floor out of sight. So I moved the trunk/ display and thankfully what was on the floor was my size. I shopped the rest of the store as I had coupons I wanted to use. Nothing else inspired me except a pair of panties that you get free with purchase and coupon. As I waited to check out and finally was my turn I asked again about my sweater. I was assured that in two days it will be put out. The girl at the register was looking for a sensor to take off of my leggings and there was none. I explained how I got them off the floor. She said they were really busy over the weekend. This is the only store I like in this mall. Even this store is in rough shape. I might try again in the future and will update my review if it improves.

She was so quick and knew her stuff! I went to the cash and lo and it explained where the rest of her colleagues were. There were 3 on cash and 3 customers waiting. Those ladies worked that line and I got to the front in no time. The store seemed well stocked to me, although I was like a horse with those flappy things (what are those things called anyway? Sigh...mommy brain) on their eyes and I only had one way to go! I would say from the time I walked in, I was in and out in 10 minutes and that just makes my life that much easier when you have your family impatiently waiting outside for you to finish in a store they don't want to be in!
