The male associate was clueless on how to retrieve the reservation and his customer service was beyond ridiculous! After another associate assisted him, he was still clueless. My son explained what he wanted for his wedding suit as he had already viewed on Men's Wearhouse's site! I asked for the manager since we were getting no where. The manager came out and stated the only suits they had the "rent" were on the counter!! Now we were there to buy a suit for my son and husband for the wedding! Not rent as they evidently assumed!!!! Never once was he asked anything passed the slap on the counter as to which suit he'd like from the laminated junky sheet of cookie cutter suits!!! This place is unprofessional and uneducated! My husband and I came to this location to purchase a suit for his son's wedding, and Lamont guided us through every single aspect of the process. From selecting the right fit to handling alterations, he made sure we felt confident and taken care of. We left that day knowing Men's Wearhouse would be our go-to spot for any of my husband's future suiting needs. Full disclosure though--when we returned to pick up one of the suits (he purchased one for the wedding and another for date nights), Lamont wasn't there. Unfortunately, we experienced some of the worst customer service we've ever had. The young Black woman working that day made it clear she would've rather been anywhere else. She tried to engage in small talk toward the end of our visit, but the attitude she had carried up to that point had already left a bad taste. Fast forward to today--my husband and I had some errands to run and decided to stop by Men's Wearhouse first, just to get it out of the way. To our surprise and delight, there was Lamont! We were so genuinely happy to see him. As always, he was dapper and dressed to the nines, instantly elevating the energy of the entire store. Lamont has the confident ease of a store owner and knows exactly how to make you feel comfortable while providing exceptional service. His professionalism and warmth today completely restored our faith in Men's Wearhouse. My husband and I have already agreed--we'll only return on days Lamont is working. With him, we know we're guaranteed the absolute best experience every time.

Well, about a week before Mar 1, we called and they were not ordered. We asked for them to be ordered again and were told again they would order the tie samples and would be in by Mar 1. Well, on Mar 1, when I called, guess what... They weren't in. I spoke with the owner the 3rd time and explained to her the ties were never ordered. She said she didn't know to order them (although we asked twice already) and would order them. I asked her to call me when they came in and gave my phone number. Well, I called them again today and asked if the ties were in because I never received follow up. She said she ordered, they came in, then when I didn't show up to the store, she sent them back. I asked why she never called me but all she could say is that she expected me to come by. Why would I come by if the other 2 times I ordered, they weren't actually ordered! She had an attitude and said she would order again but would charge me for the samples. At that point, I cancelled the entire order. Why would I go through them for my wedding and trust them to cloth half my wedding party when they cannot even get a tie sample in or follow up when promised?! To top it off, she tells me that their "notes get lost sometimes" and that is why she no longer had my phone number. Which I find to be interesting since I gave it when I filled out the paperwork and every other time I called. Terrible service. Terrible follow up. Does not do what they say they will. AND the owner has a snotty attitude and doesn't care. I would not recommend. There are too many places in savannah to settle.

The tux's and shoes were ordered about a week in advance, we came in tried everything on for the order. (The shoes were extremely important because I wear a wide shoe, which is very hard to find in a store and have to be special ordered.) When our order came in, I picked up my son and my tux's with the shoes. Got dressed and was half way to the banquet, when the sole of my shoe fell off! Imagine the shock to my wife and myself when this happened. I called Simons and they said if you can get here by 6 we can see if we have a pair you can swap. I stated, "Its 5:50 and there is no way we will get there by 6, can you wait a few minutes, we should be able to get there no later than 6:15.". "NO, we close at 6! " By the time we got there, sure enough, they were closed. I made several phone calls to area businesses and found shoes in my size at Men's Warehouse and we stopped there. They cost $159.00! They were the only place open and the only ones that carried 11 1/2 wide shoes. With not having any other choice than to purchase these shoes, which we were very grateful that they had my size in stock, we purchased the shoes. When I returned the tux's and shoes to Simons Formal Wear on Monday, I inquired about some type of compensation for the inconvenience and having to purchase shoes that I should not have had to worry about since that was part of my rental price that I paid them. I took the Mens Warehouse receipt for the shoe purchase just to show them, that I was out of that money and I was told the only thing they could do was refund for the shoe rental of $22.00. I rented the suit for $110.00, including the shoes. I had to spend an additional $159.00, was late to the event and all they would do was give me $22.00! In my mind this was not proper compensation. I was not asking for a full refund but something better than $22.00 just for the inconvenience. Tried to call the corporate office, I looked online for two days and there was no #s to be found. The owner was not compassionate to what had happened, not one time did she state, I am sorry for your inconvenience. When I asked for the corporate #, she stated there was no one else to talk to but her, that she was the owner. She had no compassion for what had happened, did not care if I would have been a return customer and in my opinion, did not care about me in any way shape or form as a customer. I will never use there services again and I will tell any and every one I know not to use them strictly from a customer service point of view. All they want is your money. Trust me, on rating this place, they do not even deserve the one star rating!! Too bad they don't have negative numbers, because they do not even deserve that. Customers Beware, if you have an important event to attend, do not risk the chance of them ruining your event. Go to Men's Warehouse located on Abercorn Street. Trust me, from now on, Men's Warehouse will be the only place that gets our business and referrals from now on.

To hem two pants and the sleeves of a blazer was $115 plus tax (a bit steep there- and much higher than posted on their Facebook). The pants were $25 each and the blazer was $65. I was hopeful the quality of work warranted that price, but unfortunately that's not the case. The seamstress folded in the arms of my blazer and sewed it in like that, leaving button holes visible in the cuff, of which they kept the buttons that they removed. I had to request she sew shut the cuff button holes now mostly on the inside of my blazer at pick up and expressed it doesn't look good as I now have a thick and bulky cuff with visible stitching, and a visible button hole on the edge of the cuff. The stitches are all visible through the outside of the clothes, and the stitches themself are not neat. I'm extremely disappointed that my nice business clothes (all JCrew and in total cost over $400) now look like this and am contemplating how I'm supposed to show up to work with a visibly horribly altered suit. As a positive, they got the work done way faster than requested (almost 2 weeks) or communicated; although, I'd rather they'd have taken their time and done a better job.

This happened a couple months ago now but in needing more alterations done, I got annoyed all over again thinking about it. I've been wearing suits to work for over 10 years now. When I put on my pants, I put my right foot in first, and occasionally it will catch the stitching on the hem at the bottom right leg. This can cause the stitch to come loose which requires that tiny little area to just be resewn. It's happened before, it will happen again. So I walked into Vera's early on a Monday morning. I explained this situation, showed her, and was asked "Do you want to wait 10 or 15 minutes for this?". Pause here because this makes sense. A very simple fix should take little time and cost little money, right? I had to get to work so I said I'd pick it up later or the following day. Fast forward to later that afternoon, and I went by to pick up my pants and there was now a younger lady manning the shop. To my dismay, the pants that I was told would take 10-15 minute were not done and she didn't seem to know when they would be. Okay... no big deal. A couple days go by and I go to pick them up. As I'm being rung up, I see on the ticket $4 and change (or something like that) and I'm thinking that while I assumed it would be a quick, cheap fix, less than $5 is not bad, right? That was not the case. I was charged almost $30... ... for a 15 minute quick stitch fix... I mean... I'm pretty sure I could have figured out how to do this with a thread and needle. I was a bit confused and so I questioned her. "That seems a little high?". She responded "No, this is standard pricing". I questioned her again and reminded her that she told me it would only take "10-15 minutes" (WHICH I DISTINCTLY RECALL SINCE SHE ASKED IF I WANTED TO WAIT WHEN I DROPPED THEM OFF). She responded by saying that she never said that and that in all her years nobody had ever challenged her on price. I was uncomfortable so I handed her my card. But why would I even make that up?! Unless she had a twin, she looked me in the face and called me a liar when she had her facts wrong. Here's what I think happened. I think I was charged for what it would typically cost for both pant legs to be hemmed... and that $30 price range makes sense. But I had a stitch loose on only one of two legs. I'm not sure she even recalled the work that had been done and in her mind thought full work had been done on both legs?! I don't know but given my questioning, I think she could have looked into this a little further... Anyway, the whole experience was offputting. I won't be going back.
