The professor is wonderful, very knowledgeable, and makes learning fun. Another great aspect is all three semesters have been the same students. So you get to know everyone very well and become friends. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn another language and have fun while doing it.

However, I knew I needed something more to improve my skills. The in person classes taught me how to create lesson plans that were interesting and engaging. Word games, pictures, and roleplaying, in addition to structure, made learning a joy for students and teacher. Also, being certified as an ESL teacher opened the door for employment to nonprofits including TLC. I'm grateful for the numerous students from all over the globe they have brought to me. Enjoyed my first Italian class at Cohn that was sponsored by Nashville continuing education…read more The building appears to be an old high school the have repurposed. It is easy to get to with lots of parking in front and on side roads. We were in basement classroom and the room was showing signs of wear with crumbling wood and paint around the windowsills. All in all a good experience and nice enough rooms and clean building overall.

She is incredibly patient, kind, and understanding, which makes such a difference when tackling a new language. But what really sets her apart is her energy--she's always positive, encouraging, and absolutely hilarious. She makes every class fun and engaging, which keeps me motivated and excited to keep learning. She knows how to challenge us without making things feel overwhelming, and she creates an environment where mistakes are just part of the learning process.
