She even offered to travel to Napa ahead of time to view the venue, and this familiarity really helped so that she was able to capture the architecture and feel of the location. On the morning of, she was there early and ready at the perfect spot. After the surprise of the proposal, she spent about an hour taking our photos around the winery and inside the tasting room with suggested poses and pre-determined locations. She was extremely efficient, and we felt that we had plenty of time for everything. She sent a handful of photos less than an hour after we were done, which we were able to share with friends and family. After a few weeks, she sent the full portfolio (over 500 photos) and everyone agrees that they were beautiful. She was always very responsive to my questions before each shoot and allowed plenty of time for us to get the photos/poses we wanted during the shoots. She never put a time limit on our sessions. We never felt rushed and she always checked in the make sure we were happy. I sent her a Pinterest board with photo ideas for my maternity shoot. She actually looked at the board and made sure we got all the shots I wanted before we finished our session. She even let me family get in on each photo shoot so we got a great deal. Her studio is located in downtown Petaluma but she's also willing to meet at an offsite location. Parking tip: there is a 2 hour limit on Kentucky Street but there is a parking garage with a 4-10 hour limit one street back on Keller. You can park there and then take the exit right onto Kentucky street. Her studio is cozy and inviting. She has a waiting room for families (great for when you do the newborn shots) that couches, snacks, drinks and a TV. She has a ton of newborn outfits and gowns for mama. Her turnaround time for the gallery is 1-2 weeks and she'll keep you updated on the process. She has a makeup artist that can come to her studio if you want to get glammed up before a shoot. We'll be using her for our family photos from here on out. I am so happy I got connected to her!
