Sara did so much more than just take amazing photos. She helped me plan the timing of the whole day, with expert guidance and perspective on lighting and flow. She dedicated a lot of time and energy to help plan and prep with me so she really understood what we wanted for our big day. She was responsive and professional and also personable, sweet, and funny. When the day arrived, Sara and her second photographer Cecilia helped everything run so smoothly. She even knew how to calm me down when I was freaking out. Sara wrangled our big rowdy family and had lots of tricks for getting natural facial expressions and poses out of everyone including the children and the awkward adults. She kept us laughing while also moving us through the many groups we had lined up. I just looked through all the photos from the ceremony and I can't believe how many angles Sara and Cecilia captured-- they were everywhere... but how??? He is extremely organized and met with us multiple times to ensure he knew everything needed to support us on our wedding day. When the day came around, his calm demeanor was very soothing and helped us stay in the moment. He went above and beyond in every possible way and even stayed past his contracted time because we were running behind schedule and he knew we'd want footage of our first dances, which was so kind of him to do. The turnaround for our highlight reel was only a few days and was absolutely mesmerizing. The way he captured the magic of the day was truly phenomenal and beyond anything we had hoped for, and we were so happy to have an artifact delivered so soon after the wedding. We even requested additional video packages because we were so impressed with his work and how he told the story of our day! She notices light, angles, expressions, and tiny details that other people would completely miss, and somehow turns those moments into beautiful images that actually feel like the day. We did not want to spend hours posing for photos or feel like we were missing our own wedding. Dustin was friendly, responsive and easy to work with. He provided us helpful advice and guidance throughout the process. On the day of our wedding, Dustin was everywhere we looked, snapping photos left and right. He did a great job capturing most of the photos we requested. Our wedding party like working with him, especially since he worked quickly and was professional. He even went up on a ladder and captured a fantastic photo of all our wedding guests, which was a unique photo we really wanted to have. We received over 800 photos (in both color and black and white) from Dustin a little less than three weeks after our wedding, which was a way faster turnaround time than we expected. He mailed the photos to us on a flash drive and also provided us a link where we could access all the photos online. Dustin captured every moment of our wedding, including the wedding party getting ready, our first look, the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception dinner and dancing! He also captured great photos of the wedding venue, including our ceremony site and our beautifully decorated reception hall. The quality of the pictures Dustin took were fantastic. The colors in the photos were so vivid. Dustin is especially an expert at capturing photos of nature, which was important since our ceremony was in a Redwood Tree Grove. We were impressed by all the angles and perspectives of the photos he took at our ceremony.
