After a bunch of wasted time with other contractors I finally met Johnny and I happy with his proposal and ultimately his quality of work. We have in wall toilet tanks and both were leaking and to make things worse the specific product was discontinued. This was in the house before we moved in so I didn't know all the specifics. Therefore, we opened up one of the walls to determine if we needed to replace the whole tank or just the components inside. He figured out was unnecessary to replace the tanks and he was able to find compatable parts! As well we took the opportunity to add electrical outlets and another water source for bidet toilet seats. He did very clean work, took great care to minimize damage during the removal process (which is harder than if we were just demoing the entire bathroom tile). Bottom line it is very difficult to tell there was partial replacement and tie into existing remaining wall. I was particularly concerned with the partial tile replacement and grout work not matching up, but came out clean. We also had him water proof and finish off the stone around the tub and tile the wall behind the tub. He helped my wife and I make some decisions on tile because we were a little unsure. He was able to work with our schedule coming in a few different days that worked with his current schedule and ours because we work full time and with kids it is too difficult to just take any day off. I was happy with the work he did in the bathrooms so I had him also fix my sink which was an all-in-one custom counter-top into sink made of Corian. The sink had developed a crack and would leak under pressure. It wasn't as simple as just removing a metal sink and swapping out. He had to carefully cut the corean and this time we dropped in a metal sink that was very close to the existing size of our sink, but it required some slight modifications to the opening, along with adjusting the plumbing as the drop used to be centered and now was offset to side. As well the old faucet and soap dispenser were knotched into the corean, but becuase the metal perimeter didn't fully cover the hole he was able to borrow and cut to size the Corian from the section he removed doing his best to color match so it blended in. While it is not perfect options were pretty limited. He could have done epoxy and suggested that might be the way to go, but I advised that I just wanted him to cut out the Corian and blend it in the best he could. In summary, I was happy to have found Johnny and will definitely use his services again when the time comes.

Yep, dumb! 1) he is super personable and as honest as can be 2) his going rate cannot be beat 3) his workmanship and attention to detail is impeccable We had to pull an old, moldy cabinet out of our master bathroom, which also meant pulling out the mirror, fixing plumbing issues, and......once the cabinet was out, it now included laying new tile as well. Sergio came over to do the prep work on Friday night for a couple hours, then was going to finish up the next day on Saturday; however, the tile needed to dry a bit longer and the paint also needed more time to dry, so he scheduled time with us on Sunday to do it instead. He even marked the broken sprinklers for my gardener. He did all of this for me for free and he was so honest about cheaper alternatives. Had we been told beforehand that simply coming out and cutting the vinyl to expose the subfloor would result in a $120 charge, we could have made an informed decision before allowing any work to begin. I understand that a contractor may discover a larger problem once they inspect an area, and I'm completely reasonable about legitimate changes in scope. However, unexpectedly changing the project price and then informing the customer after the fact about a fee that was never disclosed or agreed upon is not good business practice.
