I wasn't a fan. I got a laser hair removal package of six. Saw a different person almost every time and they all did and said different things. I think this caused inconsistent results. I also noticed an increase in my hair growth which is something I've never experienced in the past. I also wasn't a fan of the pushy sales talk but I get it, that's part of the job. They never have any appointments available, and when you do show up they rush, or straight up refuse to treat you even if you are 10 min late because they overbook. I have been trying to cancel my membership because I couldn't be seen for over 10 weeks (the agreement was to get treatment every 7 weeks) and they refuse to cancel the contact which is a two way agreement (not just on the part of a client). I bought six sessions of laser hair removal then got pregnant after using one session. They assured me I could use the rest of my package once I was ready, and they said nothing about an expiration date. I called to schedule my remaining sessions once I healed from delivery, and they shared I could not use these sessions as they had expired. Apparently you get only 11 months once pregnant to use these, this is two weeks post delivery. Main issue here being they did not disclose this information when I called to tell them I was pregnant, I have notes from our conversation. They offered to give me a discount on a membership, which of course I am uninterested in - especially now. Terrible customer service, especially for a new mom who was simply healing from pregnancy and delivery, you'd think they'd support women and moms and their self care a little better. read more

Beware! Did not honor Groupon. When called corporate number lady refused to connect me to her manager. She said "I'm the manager". She refused to honor a Groupon. When I read her the fine print of their own disclosure she said that I'm wrong. As soon as I told her that they are breaking the law by falsely advertising, she got all serious and said that her lawyer is advising her to stop the conversation. And she hung up. No wonder that they went belly up in more respectable area of the town and now operate from an office building I had 12 treatments done (6 at one place and last 6 at this place). Through out the procedures at simplicity I stopped seeing results. I didn't see any consistency in laser or heat usage. They were blasting me at a very low setting and up-selling at every appointment. When I requested to explain the procedure and how they assess and choose how to treat the area, I wasn't given any useful information except "I'll make sure you zapped alright", professional huh? When I told them I wasn't seeing any results, they finally changed the settings. At my last appointment the lady told me, that I'm have terrific results for only having it done 6 times. I had to remind her that it was my 12th time and with my type of skin and hair color, it should have been last (as they advertise in their office). read more

I'm super disappointed in my experience with Simplicity. I didn't prioritize laser hair removal of my bikini line during the pandemic and, apparently, the package I paid for suddenly and without any notice expired. After resuming services a couple of months ago, I've done face-to-face scheduling on several occasions. Not once was I given any indication of a time limit. In fact the staff continued scheduling me well past this arbitrary expiration date. Then, out of the blue, my appointments were cancelled as, unbeknownst to me, my package had expired with just a few treatments remaining. There was no acknowledgment of the poor communication nor was their any leniency given in recognition of a pandemic. In fact, I felt penalized when they stated that I didn't use my services regularly. I explained that I have two YOUNG kids who are frequently sick. During the pandemic, this made it nearly impossible to regularly pursue services without impacting others. I pursued my concerns with a manager, but was ultimately left hanging. It's been well over a week and I'm still awaiting a response. It's become clear Simplicity doesn't particularly care about ensuring a fair customer experience nor do they prioritize the safety of staff/clients during a national health crisis. SCAM BUSINESS!! TRANSPHOBIC! DISCRIMINATORY! I had an appoitnment on Saturday morning at 845AM. I left Fort Collins at 7am, with very expensive perscription lidocane cream on my face, only to find that the GPS put me on the backside of the building! When i get to the front,NO SIGNS! SO confusing! When i get inside, NO SIGNS! SO i finally get upstairs, and i'm knocking on the door, waiting for them to let me in. I easily wait 2 minutes until someone opens the door to scan my temperature. At this point, i'm 4 minutes late to my 15 minute appointment, this is my FIRST appointment with them. The incompitant front desk girl leads me to another room, gives me medical paper work to fill out AGAIN, eventhough i already did. i fill it out in seconds, and look for the receptionist to give her back my paperwork. She is no where to be found. TEN MINUTES LATER, she walks into the room, takes my clip board and says "Obviously we can't see you today, so let's try and get you on the schedule." NOT ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FOR WEEKS. SO i'm standing there, face numb, ready for my procedure, and they can't even see me for a few minutes, and there's NO moveability in the schedule if i wait to see if someone else is late? I ask them who they were working on during my session, and they say there's nothign they can do for me. She INTENTIONALLY waited the full length of my appointment only to tell me she wouldn't take me, and that they are so scheduled so tight, that even if you are 1 minute late, they absolutely will not take you. Then the laser specialist comes out, takes one look at me, tells me my appointment is only 5 minutes long, even though my confirmation email clearly says it's a 15 minute procedure. I tell her that, and she looks shocked thati read the email, and dissmisses me with "well there's nothing i can do for you" AND THEN CHARGES ME THE FOR SESSION. My Saturday RUINED. I purchased a Groupon to get a facial here, so this review is exclusively for their facial services. My appointment was around 1 pm so I showed up a little early, but no one actually greeted me for what felt like quite a while. When someone finally came to greet me, they had me fill out a form and then I waited patiently for the esthetician to call me back for the facial. The room was small, but cozy. The music was a mix of classical pieces as well as "sounds of nature" which I have personally always found really weird...but it was fine. The esthetician was very nice and explained everything she was doing. I'm not much of a talker during any sort of appointment, and I appreciate that she was cognizant of that. It is SO satisfying to feel someone extracting all of the sebum out of your face, let me tell you. All of the masks were great as well. I think including tip I paid less than $40 and I would honestly come back because it was such a steal and my face felt so smooth after. read more

Showed up at the Lone Tree location for an appointment and the place was vacant. Had to call to find out if they were still open and where. When I arrived ( late ) for my appointment they said they didn't get everyone notified of the move. No apology for the inconvenience. Not great customer service! Update: They charged me well over $2000 and then cheated me out of the benefits of the contract I signed up for. I have been really pleased with the aesthetician that I see at the Centennial location as well as the customer service and billing departments. My schedule is complicated with two jobs and a three year old and they have been patient and polite about my constant scheduling and rescheduling. Furthermore, I've heard laser hair removal is supposed to hurt, but between the skill level of my aesthetician and the high tech machine they use, I feel no pain. Not even a little bit, and not even in the bikini area. This is so much better than waxing! I'll update my review once I start to see results. read more

They only have 1 tech available daily, machines constantly going down and can't reschedule for months, only have 800 number to call so you can't get ahold of the facility for directions because you are on hold for 30 minutes. I got an 8 pack from Groupon to try Simplicity out. Of those 8, I would say at least 3 of them ran 20+ minutes late. They go out of their way to sell you an expensive numbing gel to use before your appointments. And while the gel definitely works, it doesn't if you get taken back 30 minutes late because it's worn off. I will most likely end up finishing my underarm treatments somewhere else that has a better grasp of schedules and time management. read more

I have been doing it for Almost a year. There has been no improvements. I still have to shave every other day. This does not work!! At least not from this location. they conned me into signing an 18 month contract that I was not made aware of at signing that I would not be able to get out of. I followed up saying to them that it wasn't working and they convinced me to stay on a little while longer saying they would look at my problem areas. Note it's been about a year now. I never followed up because who has the time. Every time I go into this office at my schedule time they moved my time without telling me. Then I'm in there for 20 minutes, or there scolding me for being five minutes late even though they changed my time without telling me. On top of that there's another 10 to 15 minute wait after your appointment is finished just schedule another appointment. I walked out last time not having the time to make an appointment no one followed up with me. I haven't made an appointment since and I am now upset with customer service because they canceled the entire month due to the coronavirus. Understandable. BUT Am I still going to be charged for the month? I think so. Then they hit me with $199 fee if I want to cancel the rest of my appointments. Was not made aware that there would be a cancellation fee by no longer wanting to be in the contract. When they have you signing up for the contract they don't fill you in on all the important details that you should know but they stand over you expecting you to sign it in a hurry. Nothing is made clear by the staff. Everything about this company has been an unpleasant experience. We are finishing out a years contract of unlimited full body laser hair removal for my husband. It has been one problem after another with this location including subpar customer service and horrible technicians. Hair has grown back in all sorts of patterns, including stripes and leopard print, because two technicians in particular aren't doing their work with the laser thoroughly. In a hurry or just lazy, who knows? Either way, we were suppose to get 3 free months added to the end of our contract to compensate for the wasted appointments, but we are still being charged our monthly fee, 2 months after our contract was suppose to end. DECEPTION QUEENS! I've had laser on my armpits before so I know what to expect. I needed a touch-up for a few stragglers that didn't get zapped by the prior lasers so I came to this place. The location is convenient to my house so why not right? Well, I'm 4 sessions in and I asked the technician if they go in different patterns on the pits because I feel they don't always zing the hairs (you feel it ya know). Her response was that they start the laser on an extremely low setting and strengthen it as sessions progress. Um, what? This isn't my first laser rodeo lady. I continue to probe by telling her I feel that they are deceptive and I likely will still have straggler hairs at the end of my purchased 8 sessions. She confirms my suspicions are correct that my few random hairs will likely still be there then makes a note of it in my record as if it's a secret society. I've had great results. The staff has been friendly and welcoming. I was very hesitant about having laser at first but Susie was very reassuring and has done my laser sessions. She is amazing! I did shop around and found that some laser hair removal places just raise their prices to be able to offer the steep discounts they claim.That isn't the case at Simplicity. They were upfront about the costs and I thought the price was very reasonable. If you are thinking about laser hair removal, I'd suggest trying Simplicity. Lone Tree, CO location. I realized very quickly they set the laser so low that results will be minimal when you purchase a promotional deal (Groupon & Living Social). They then try to upsell you on one of their membership packages stating it takes a year to see results. I have had laser done before and had results after one session. When you go to a reputable establishment you feel the pop on the hair as it's being zapped, I never felt that on my first 4 appointment. I had to repeatedly ask for them to up the laser and finally got the pop my last two visits. I had very minimal results and feel disappointed with their business ethics. And, if you try to reschedule an appointment....good luck. You will sit on hold for a minimum of 10-15 minutes only to be told they are booked for at least 4 weeks past your original appointment time. read more

Very poor customer service.The receptionist was flustered and confused when I told her what I needed for a schedule and handed me to the office manager, Diane. Diane then placed the blame on me for not making the appointment even though I was calling in to give a courtesy notice just as the appointment started and asked if it was OK to get me in that day. Response, "we are booked for the day" and then their was some weird claim made by her "that this is the medical field and doctors and dentists don't get patients in the same day". Um, yes they do. At any rate, I went into the office to have a meeting with Diane, the self proclaimed seasoned customer service expert, where she proceeded to point here finger at me, shaking it up and down that I missed the appointment. Its always nice to be scolded like a grade schooler..:). The receptionist then went onto to complain verbally in front of me that this was her birthday and how she was soooo disappointed her day was starting like this. WOW??? I was so nervous at my first appointment, they explained everything to me as they went along and took their time - such sweethearts! The girls weren't the friendliest and said there wasn't enough time before they closed to do my appointment. Seriously, I drive 75 miles to do this appointment & the girl couldn't stay 15 extra minutes to take care of me? Customer service is lacking! Rescheduling appointments are useless. I pay $69/mo to have an appointment every 6 weeks yet, if I reschedule there is NEVER an appointment available during the same month. I am actually on a cancellation list to have an appointment. When I bought the first one there, the seal on the box was cut -- the girl there said that it got cut during shipment. I took it home and found that the product was yellow, thin, and had a weird smell. I took it back and asked for an exchange. The second box I got also had a broken seal. Took it home and again the product was yellow. I now order mine from the Skinceuitcals website, where the product comes sealed and the color clear. read more
