Worst facial of my life. This is in a doctor facility, not a nice spa type of establishment. As soon as I walked in she started trying to upsell me. If they don't want to do a basic facial why have it on the "menu?" First into a chemical peel which wasn't the solve for existing pimples. Then into a diamond glow facial. Then proceeded to wash my face and do a mask that took 20 mins. I asked for extractions (which are typical) - she left the three zits on my face and bypassed by chin altogether until I asked again. Never walked out of a facial smelling bad and with a face full of zits. It was $130 to have my face washed and a mask. read more

At 46 years old, my third eye was becoming more pronounced by the day when an ex-boyfriend sent me nostalgic photos of fun times we shared in the past. There I was laying on the grass at an outdoor art festival on a summer day. What I primarily noticed was the rosacea on the side of my face that I once considered my good side (I have a different skin condition on the other side) Rather than getting back together with the ex, I found myself desperately searching the internet for a way to fix my face. Next thing you know, the internet is spying on my insecurities and I'm getting Facebook ads for IPL. It worked great, I felt like a new woman until third eye came back a year and a half later with an entourage of other brown spots, scaly red patches, and broken blood vessels. I would have gone back to the other place, but my daughter kept singing the praises of Alicia and Smoothe. On the Smoothe website, I found instead of IPL, the Forever Young BBL facial is offered. I learned that BBL is newer technology than IPL. Google told me "a groundbreaking study on BBL from Stanford University shows that Forever Young BBL™ can restore gene expression of aged human skin to resemble much younger skin." Very cool! After reading all of the five star reviews on Google and Yelp, I was sold! My daughter said she wanted me to be her " Guinea pig " in terms of seeing what it might do for her future self. Unless you enjoy being snapped in the face with electric rubber bands--like IPL, BBL is not a pleasant sensation. The slight torture is short-lived but for anyone with rosacea, sun damage, tone/texture concerns, it is 100% worth it. Beyond the numbing crème, it helps that Alicia is a master of skin care and distraction. Her treatments are tempered with a fantastic sense of humor and a soothing presence. Besides removing evidence of bad skin care decisions I made in the 1990's, she changed my life when she suggested we also tint my translucent brows and lashes, and introduced me to the Diamond Glow! Since I just moved I was having a hard time finding great services to take care of face, and I'm so happy I found Alicia. It was a little tricky to find but they provide free valet parking . Had my first facial today with Alicia, from the beginning the booking was very straight forward. In the beginning of the service I was immediately relaxed. Gentle clean products my face immediately felt cleaner and healthier. My service was Dermaplane + Facial Combo (Regular). I haven't gotten a dermaplane in 2 years and my face really ended it. Ceirra stockwell is the best! I started going to smoothe just for eye lash tinting. Ceirra was the sweetest and talked to me about other things I can try for beauty (without any pressure)! Overtime, i've started getting eyelash lifts too.. which.. let me tell you... It's a LIFE CHANGER. Especially as someone who is pretty low maintenance with makeup, but I have a remote virtual job where I need to be prepared to be on camera at the drop of a dime. I can be ready in an instant now! my eyelashes are twice as long and full as before - - when I feel like going big with actual makeup it's so striking and bold I feel like a movie star. It's not very difficult to upkeep an eyelash lift with serum too so it lasts like two months sometimes. Over time, I've learned on Ceirra and the Smoothe team to help me through a bad retinol allergic reaction that left my skin rough and raw. They got it back to better than before!! This was my first time getting a lash lift and I did a bunch of research about it because I was a little caution since it's so close to my eyes, but I'm so glad I did it! I looked around at different places to try a lash lift and Smoothe definitely had the best reviews because other large lash salon places are too corporate and don't have the best workers, which leaves you with the luck of the draw. But Ali was amazing and very knowledgeable. You could totally tell she's done this a bunch of times already and she made me feel very relaxed. The place is really easy to find. I parked in the meter parking since it was right outside the building and the place was directly on your left when you walk inside. The room was very clean with some good background music playing. The bed was so comfortable and Ali was so kind to put the heater on and I bundled up with some blankets. Ali started off first with cleaning my face and even added a bonus peel mask that just striped my face of all the dead skin I've been carrying around with me. I had the VI perfection plus chemical peel 2 weeks ago and I love my results! My main concerns are hyper/pigmentation from the Colorado sun and aging. I saw C'eirra this weekend for a dermaplane and lash lift (this was my second time in for the same services, but my visits to Smoothe have been my first appointments for any skin care).
