I found JMEP on Instagram and reached out to see how it works. From that day forward Jennifer was there for me 24/7! She knows EVERYTHING there is to know about planning a perfect wedding. The most important and impressive part to me is her constant communication and responsiveness. She literally made it impossible for me to feel stressed! I would text or call her and immediately she was on it. When it comes to her design skills, they're unmatched! I would give as much creative freedom to her because she puts together a stunning wedding! She puts in endless hours of communicating, planning, meeting us last minute when we were in town and listening to our every concern. I couldn't have asked for anyone more perfect to help us during this special year. (Also it was 2020 so the whole covid thing .. won't even get into it but she helped us navigate it all!) To top it off, the day of she's there and she is WORKING IT!!! Kept me confident, on schedule, and had every detail of the event running perfectly. There truly is nobody better than JMEP!     we attended a wedding at the beautiful Jubilee Estates but…read more venues event planner - Jennifer was very unprofessional, intrusive and thinks she is the hostess drinking and dancing on the job - wearing flashy clothing to attract attention, and rude to guests she made a conscious effort to be visible to wedding owners blocking the view of guests and monitoring continuously by being in the middle of a everything like gestapo at rehearsal and wedding day She was inviting guests to dance floor I have never seen a wedding planner like her oblivious to problems happening - sound system problems , one table that wasn't cleared up until waiters realized for about 30 minutes as she was too busy having fun herself - Best wedding planners are invisible and monitor and manage behind the scenes they make a conscious effort not to standout but yet here she was on bright red clothes on rehearsal day and flashy outfit with a hat dancing around during wedding - the wedding was shutdown at 10 pm due to noise ordinance ( law enforcement came) - planner should have known and dısclosed this as website stated 11 .she was not meticulous which is what wedding planning is about ! Despite being asked questions on timeline during rehearsal dinner wedding planner was not able to answer what time guest should arrive and was dismissive to all questions stating her assistant was there not herself When asked about potential tree nut allergy she responded ( so they probably should not eat it - rather than coming up with alternate plan) planner was blatantly rude to younger members of the family as well sometimes trying to physically snatch an object from their hands. I would not recommend her to anyone maybe his team members are better at doing wedding planning .

I'll admit that planning a wedding is out of my league. Additionally, I work part-time and I'm studying to be a psychiatrist. My husband is a biological scientist and conservation planner, which requires him to frequently travel. Not only did we not have any idea where or how to begin planning a wedding, but we also both have very little free time. From our first interaction with Shannon, we were extremely impressed. In fact, our first interaction with Shannon was on a Friday night since that was the only time that our schedules allowed us to talk with her. Throughout the nine months that we worked with her to plan our wedding, Shannon always communicated with us when it was most convenient for us - including nights, weekends, and even holidays. Because we live in Tallahassee, FL - the location of our wedding - and Table 6 Productions is located in St Petersburg, FL, Shannon communicated with us by phone and email. Shannon worked with every vendor involved in our wedding, which included negotiating and securing contracts with them. Although Shannon was working outside of the area of our wedding venue, the planning process was seamless. Shannon listened to our ideas for our wedding, and she then turned our dreams into reality. We have no idea if Shannon was working with other couples during the time that she was planning our wedding, as she never mentioned it. Shannon gave my husband and I VIP treatment, making us both feel like royalty. Since wedding planning is about your big day, why wouldn't you want to feel like you are the most important couple in the world? We set an original budget, which Shannon strived hard to adhere to. We did exceed it, but that was only by our choice. Shannon was very conscientious with regards to our budget, and she made recommendations about rentals and other aspects of our wedding that were not necessary in an attempt to stay within our original budget. Again, we only went over our original budget by choosing to have specific elements in our wedding that were not originally discussed with Shannon. Three months prior to our wedding date, Shannon made a trip to Tallahassee, FL to meet with all of our vendors, my husband, and myself. Several of our vendors mentioned to us that they were impressed that Shannon came to meet with them in person, as that is rare for other wedding planners that they've worked with - including ones who live in our area. In fact, all of our vendors and everyone involved in our wedding informed us how friendly Shannon was and what a pleasure she was to work with. Shannon's knowledge of the wedding industry, coupled with her attention to detail, allowed her to execute every aspect of planning our wedding with flawless precision and class. There is no possible way that our wedding would have come to fruition without Shannon's help. Over the course of planning our wedding with Shannon, we became so close that we consider her more than our wedding planner - she is valued as a member of our family. We utilized Shannon and Table 6 Productions for full-service wedding planning, which was the best decision we've ever made. On the day of our wedding, we enjoyed relaxing and spending time with our friends and family. The only thing that we had to do on our wedding day was show up to our venue and marry one another. Shannon coordinated every aspect of setting up for our wedding with our vendors, as well as the clean-up that took place afterwards. Several of our friends and family members who attended our wedding later mentioned to us that they wish Shannon was their wedding planner when they were married. They added that they had never seen a wedding flow as smoothly as ours did. She helped me stay on budget without having to make any sacrifices. She was so easy to communicate with-It was like having your most competent girlfriend (the one that also happens to have all the connections) laser focused on bringing your dreams to reality. She helped me sort through the countless vendors and matched me perfectly with each one based both on personalities and expectations. Shannon kept all the contracts together, reminded me of due dates for payments, and coordinated timelines with all the vendors. My husband and I got to sit back and enjoy the planning process, because we knew we had a professional to steer us in the right direction. Each taste testing or mock up was like a fun date that only brought us closer as a couple. Shannon helped ensure that everything was to my taste and I thoroughly enjoyed one of the most memorable days of my life. I don't know what I would have done without you Shannon!

    During the initial walkthrough of the venue, when booking a room here for my wedding and reception,…read moreI noted that the walls were not soundproof, and one could hear music being played in adjacent rooms. I asked if it would be an issue during our short 10-15 minute ceremony and was told by the manager that everything would be taken care of and she would make sure the ceremony was not interrupted, and any large parties would hold off on the noise for the short time it took us to complete the ceremony. On the day of our wedding, in the middle of the ceremony, wall shaking music began to play in the next room over as we were doing our vows, causing lines to be forgotten and guests to be unable to hear. We actually stopped and told the manager to figure out what was going on, to which she shook her phone at us as if to imply she was going to make a call, but did not. Perhaps she was simply texting. The music did not stop. Upon confronting management about the issue we were greeted with excuses as opposed to solutions, such as: seating people took too long and the manager had to reseat two handicap individuals after they were placed in the front row, as if seating was more important to her than being able to actually hear the ceremony. We were also told that the mother next door was getting very upset she had to hold off on the music for her daughter's birthday party, as if we are expected to show some sort of remorse for the other customer, despite their poor planning, and accept the fact that I could barely hear myself think when standing on the altar. Do not book a room here. Management was disorganized, unaccommodating, and rude. Our once in a lifetime ceremony was ruined not only for myself and my wife, but all of our guests.

My husband and I were originally thinking that we were going to do it all ourselves- I realized that would be impossible for me to do on top of attending medical school in a another state. I began researching wedding planners and I stumbled upon Jennifer's Instagram. We got in touch and after speaking with her, I called my (now) husband and said we HAVE to hire her! We booked with Jennifer for Design and Event Management. It was the best decision that we made. Jennifer planned and organized tastings, the design presentations, and other meetings around when I could be in town and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. She handled all contact with the vendors and helped us tweak anything we were concerned about. If we needed a recommendation for other vendors, she always had a list ready for us. She went out of her way to stay in touch with us, to get another quote or vendor, and to make sure every single detail was absolutely perfect. She provided her wisdom and recommendations which we really trusted because Jennifer is truly an expert in her field. When it all came together in the final presentation, I knew that it would be beautiful- but it was still hard for me to see the complete vision in my head. It didn't all truly hit me until the day of- as the vendors were setting up and Jennifer had everything coordinated down to every single floral arrangement and furniture piece. Walking into my ceremony was truly breathtaking- all of our guests have commented over and over that it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to. We used the same venue for ceremony and reception, and the room flip was flawless. Before the guests came in, I commented to Jennifer that I have no idea how she sees all of this in her head and makes it happen- and that is truly how I feel. My husband and I keep saying to each other that we wish we could experience it again. We did not worry about a SINGLE thing on the day of our wedding. We were able to focus on our marriage and enjoying our food, drinks, cake, and the company of our guests without a single worry about flowers or tables or chairs. If you are looking for someone to make your day unforgettable- look no further! I have said this to anyone who asks and I truly mean it: I never had a dream wedding until Jennifer planned it.

    Pat came highly recommended from multiple people. We decided on a small wedding on the beach at…read moresunset and didn't want to wait, so we set the date a few weeks out. I called Pat and she was so friendly and helpful. She explaining the different kinds of wedding ceremonies she performs. We opted for the fastest, due to our budget restraints. She was really sweet and said she wanted to get to know us so she could make the ceremony special for us. She said she usually meets with the couple to get an idea of their personalities but due to the short time frame and scheduling conflicts, on our end, we decided to do a video call. Pat was warm and friendly on the call. She felt like a family friend right away. After the call she emailed us questioned to answer about each other and our relationship. It was fun homework. We emailed her back the answers and she then responded with examples for vows which were beautiful. The day of the wedding it was forecasted for 90% chance of rain. The wedding was on the beach and we had no plan B so I picked up some waterproof mascara and eyeliner and said a prayer. It stormed and rained cats and dogs which delayed the set up, we had our reception in the beach also, but thankfully it cleared up just in time. Pat was early and super positive about the rain. When we finally got set up and it was go time and Pat was wonderful! She spoke loud enough and clearly for everyone to hear. She was funny at the right times and sentimental also which we will treasure forever. At the end she included all the guest which was sweet and fun. I highly recommend Pat!

We had a great handle on all the details of our wedding as we hired our own vendors a year in advance, but in the end, we really needed a planner who could help us pull everything together in the final days when we needed to focus on other things. Debbie and Laurie, owners of Core Concepts, did an amazing job. We hired them to help us coordinate all the details in the final 30 days leading up to our special day. You can trust that they will be in regular communication during the time that you contract to work with them - they will deliver! All of the details came together perfectly - from the beautiful flowers in our requested colors (white, purple and blue) and table seatings, coordinating with our other vendors and keeping everything on time during the day, to the signage and programs and pipe and drape and uplighting and Gobo OH MY. The setting was just perfect - Core Concepts truly helped transformed the space (which was drab) to make it feel elegant and created an atmosphere that made the entire evening feel special to us and our guests. They were hustling until the very end to ensure all the details were taken care of. They also went the extra mile and delivered our flowers after the wedding festivities to the venue where we were hosting a brunch the next morning -- and that was after a really long day of set up and breakdown. That extra touch was a huge help, and we were very appreciative. So many of our guests told us, with sincerity, that it was the best (and most magical) wedding they have ever attended (!!!), and that was thanks in no small part to the Core Concepts team. We are thrilled. They worked hard to help bring our vision to life and for helping us kick off our next adventure as a married couple. :)

We shouldn't have hesitated for a minute! The help we got from Rachel and Core Events was THE best money we spent for anything in the wedding planning. We met with Rachel a couple times and reviewed our plans for the day. She was AMAZING - helping smooth out final details at the rehearsal, checking our sound system/music selections, and providing suggestions for different ways to handle the various traditional elements. The day of, while my mother and I had our hair and makeup done, she checked in at the reception venue and ensured the cake and flowers were delivered and set up properly and the banquet room was set up according to our specs. She also placed our favors, guest book, and other little personal touches we wanted at the reception. That sorted, she booked it over to our ceremony location and helped distribute programs, herded family members and the wedding party here and there so the photographer could get as many pre-wedding family pics as possible. While we stayed behind for photos, she headed to the reception and helped get our guests started on nibbles and cocktails, even cueing our playlist for each part of the reception. Once we arrived, she announced our arrival and got our first dance music going. All this on a day she wasn't feeling too great! We are SO grateful to have had the help of someone so professional, organized, and reliable. Her help let us just relaxed, visit with family, and enjoy the day rather than running around and checking on vendors, set up and details. I cannot recommend Core Events highly enough to anyone planning a wedding or large scale event where you'd actually like to be able to enjoy the event and your guests.
