I appreciated his barber asking questions, pulling out their phone to get more detail. I especially appreciated watching how all the barbers worked together when my grandson's barber had questions or needed help. I liked how they worked together instead of leaving a co-worker struggling. Too often, anymore, it's becoming more rare of witnessing co-workers helping one another. I was encouraged that's not the case here. For a basic cut, the barbers had clients in and out lickity-split.

This is like the biker bar of barbershops. The inside decor has all the best American redneck appeal (not that that's a bad thing) and looks like it could have been a restaurant at one point. This atmosphere definitely won't be for everyone, but if you're from the country and/or have been in the military (both of which apply to me) it won't be all that unfamiliar even if it's way out of the norm I've come to expect living up in northern Virginia.
