That would have delayed my wedding by over 40 minutes with all of my guests waiting. Fortunately, a wedding guest who was ordained and could perform the ceremony was available. I called Loretta back to let her know her services would not be required. At no time did Loretta take responsibility or apologize for her scheduling error. He sent us some example ceremonies he had done and they were way off from what we were looking for, but we were able to take some of his and add what we wanted to make something we were happy with. We couldn't even get a hold of him until over 30 minutes past when he was scheduled to be there. He told us he was in a car accident which we are almost positive was a lie. Then he proceeded to do SOMEONE ELSE'S WEDDING CEREMONY! We made it a point to tell him several times all we wanted to say during the ceremony was "I do" instead he had us repeating all this cheesy garbage he had written. When we called him on this he was very rude, and refused to give us even a partial refund. This guy is obviously in this business for the money and not to make these events special for people.

They were personable and outgoing, the kind of people you'd want to be friends with. :) Our ceremony was held at their small, cottage like home here in Portland with their daughter, Isabelle (age 6 months...and TOO CUTE!), also present on August 28th, 2011. Considering the economy we didn't have a lot of money to spend and they were more than willing to work with us financially.
