These guys were excellent! They were on time, efficient, kind, courteous, and did such a great job! They packed the whole house, three stories, in a day and the next day they loaded it all up and delivered it to our new house and assembled the beds and big table. One week after paying my $100 deposit, I wad informed that my morning time slot is no longer available and my appointment was moved to 2pm. They left several voicemails about the update, but peviously we texted and emailed during the process and no written explanation was provided. The crew did an excellent job bringing in and repositioning our things as part 2 of our move. The only reason I didn't give the company a 5 was the discrepancy between the estimate sent as an email, and the actual price . It was off by about $900 K. The team leader's time keeping was sketchy at best when he explained it. Part 3 - 3 months after the move after submitting the images, weight, etc for broken items, I have heard nothing back! We moved from Oregon to No. Idaho after being in the same house for 18 years. We rented an 8ft Uhaul trailer to take items they could not move such as plants and household cleaners. Communication/Customer Service- Overall rating of one and a half stars. There was lack of communication from the foreman, customer service office, operations manager and owner named Aaron. He conducted the estimate remotely. Not given an option to have him come in person although later were told that we could have requested in person estimate. Home was 2400 squae feet with lots of storage in our garage attic. If Aaron had come to our home we feel that we would have been able to retain some of the items left behind such as ladder, dolly, picture, shelving and other misc. items as he would have been able to better tell us what would fit. During move they failed to ask us whether we still wanted towels for showering, untensils, tools to remove the TV mounts. Also specifics for preparation prior to the move were not mentioned to us. They should remind the customer what needs to be done prior to the move so the move is successful. The foreman Tyler was rude, and difficult to deal with when we addressed issues. He was argumentative always pointing fault to us instead of what he and his team could have done been better. Also, very aggressive and demanded payment at the end of the packing. I was not aware that we had to pay for the pack day separately versus at the end of the move as it was not discussed with me. I contacted the operations manager Dylan to voice my concerns on Day 2 when they loaded the trucks in addition I sent him numberous pics of items left behind by the movers. The foreman failed to discuss items that they left behind prior to leaving our house and driving to No. Idaho. We realize moving trucks may have been at capacity but some items could have been swamped out if they would have communicated with us. He listened to my concerns and said he would talk to Tyler about communication and how he deals with customers. I asked him to call me when the movers were unloading at our new house but he did not. Tyler discussed my concerns but would not accept responsibility for any of the items left behind but instead said we should have been more prepared. The unpacking on Day 3 went much better although the movers placed several boxes in the wrong room despite the labeling on the boxes. At the end of the day, Tyler requested final payment and asked if we wanted to leave a tip. Considering all the issues that we had I was reluctant to leave a tip but ended up leaving $150. The foreman asked if that was $150 per mover. I thought his comment was inappropriate and made me feel that I was not tipping enough. Move Out- Overall rating of 2.5 based on items left behind without discussing with us first. I left my wife behind so I could be at house for the unpacking. My wife stayed behind to clean up the garage and deal with items left behind. Luckily we rented a Uhaul to handle some of the overflow, neighbors and some good friends helped to get us out of the house in time for the new owners to move in. Move In- Overall rating of 4. The move in went better as the movers and foreman asked me for the most part where items should be located. There were boxes and items even though marked for a certain room were not placed in the appropriate location. The day after, contacted Dylan, the operations manager to discuss my concerns since he had not returned my call. He apologized and was receptive to my feedback. I requested a discount off the final move and he took $200 off. They moved us from point A to B and were under the estimate amount. If you decide to use Redefyne, ensure that you communicate what critical items need to be done prior to the move and insist on in person estimate if you have a large load as in our case. Update- A few precious items thrown in a box, not wrapped nor protected and broke, ceramic Zebra, soup ladle and a glass sand art planter. Very carless packers! read more

Booked our moving day 3 weeks in advance, paid $100 deposit and called to verify the booking a full week before the date and now 4 days before the move I get a call telling me they can't do my move on the day I booked Tuesday, she tells me they can't do it Thursday. Redefyne Moving really did Redefine moving for me and my care client; poorly. They were quick and on time, however, they packed stuff with so haphazardly in boxes that we have had to throw away food that spilled in the boxes and have had to sort out the Lego sets that got mixed together. Many of the boxes that they packed were left unlabeled which is unacceptable for a man living with dementia. I'm finding that much of our stuff was not moved over, And we didnt know untill too late because the boxes were not labeled. Worst of all, my care clients' late mother's urn was left at the old apartment that we no longer have access to. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

Smashed my stuff. Transported TV incorrectly then changed the final paperwork and forged my signature to indicate I waived any reimbursement or replacement. Added additional fees for additional workers that was not included in the quote. Ended up costing about 3 times what was quoted. read more

Redefyne was amazing to work with from the start, Andrew gave us an estimate that was accurate and was also very helpful in picking the size of storage unit we needed. On moving day Blain, Tyler and Sam arrived on time. They worked hard to make sure they could fit as much as possible in the truck. It was like a huge puzzle piece. it was great to have Redefyne do our moving. My mother was moving into an Assisted Living facility and had a heavy hospital bed and many heavy and fragile items. They were extremely careful with everything and made sure everything was moved carefully. They were also extremely efficient, timely and kind. They confirmed everything beforehand. The manager of the Assisted living facility said they were the best movers she had ever seen and people are moving in and out often. And the cost was more reasonable than other movers! we appreciate that they made this move go so smoothly for us! read more

Stunned by the ineptness and carelessness. I used this business two other times and my colleagues used them as well. Therefore, I had no reason to expect anything less than the quality service I had received in the past I was quoted no more than 5 hours at $146.20 ph for a max total of $735.80. They took over seven hours and I was charged over $1,000. There were two men who were fairly incompetent at their job. They took breaks, complained about the job, threatened to call in sick the next day for being overworked, slipped and fell damaging five pieces of furniture and one was aggressive and confrontational about what he had done to my furniture and had the audacity to dismiss my complaints of damage by saying it was no big deal, insurance would cover it. I began sending complaints to Redefyne as the move was happening. From that, they had all of my contact information but claimed to have written down the wrong information on my order for services. I received no response until I posted a negative review on Yelp. At which time, I was extorted to take my review down by offering me a $ reimbursement that turned out to be less than $100, and a link to filing an insurance claim. I assumed at this point I was viewed as a "valued customer" and that my issues would be expedited. WRONG. I did get a $78 reimbursement, which should have been more than $500 based on their original quote and because of the crap service I received. My move was September 15, and I have still, as of December 10th, not heard anything from the insurance company and no follow up from Redefyne. They damaged my bedroom set-- dresser, chest and bed frame and my book shelves, and have done NOTHING about it. I have unusable/damaged furniture in my new place, just waiting for the insurance company to get in touch. THREE MONTHS HAS PASSED. I will never use this moving company again and you would be crazy to use them yourself. Inept and shady. Customer service sucks. Despicable. Will be contacting the BBB. read more

This team was unbelievable. They picked up our three bedroom house is Sisters and moved it to Vancouver. The team was on time and were blazing fast and efficient. They wrapped everything, and I mean everything! All of the guys were very friendly and businesslike at the same time. They hardly took any breaks at all, even though it was a whopping 95 degrees for the move. The delivery and unloading was a breeze. Nothing was damaged. They were so careful with the walls and staircase that there was no marks anywhere. Some of my furniture was crazy heavy and they got it upstairs like it was nothing. The final price was right on with the quote which utterly amazed me. I was very worried about this move, but there was no need to be concerned with this crew. I swear I am never moving again but I would use them again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend them any more highly. All three guys that did the move were very friendly and professional. They were quick but also very careful and I especially appreciated the care they took with two large and delicate cedar chests from my great, great grandmother that were both 130+ years old from the old country. I was nervous about moving them but after talking with guys I could tell they understood the sentimental value and they were so careful it made me feel much more relaxed. Ron and Devon were excellent! They had great customer service and handled my move with care. My only recommendation is that the company have a back up for 3 person moves if one mover doesn't show up. The crew of Miguel, Carlos, Hector, and Carlos worked steadily and efficiently, carefully protecting items as needed. I would never, ever recommend this company. I hired them because someone else recommended them, but what a mistake that was!! They barely wrapped my mattresses, and the flimsy covering came off while they were unloading so they got dirty. My couch got dirty. They broke a shelf in one of our bookshelves and broke a drawer in one of our nightstands. They convinced me to cancel my piano mover, saying they could do it. Another mistake! They stripped the screws that hold the top on to my 1915 upright piano and then gave me $15 as compensation! They left a big wardrobe box in the living room instead of bringing it upstairs, so my 74-yo husband and I had to deal with that ourselves, lugging loads up in batches. They also left a chair downstairs that was supposed to be upstairs; luckily I realized that in time so I could call them back to rectify it. They mangled my plants, even tho they assured me they could handle them. Avoid these people!!!! read more

The booking process was a little off putting. I had reached out 3 days ahead to get 2 bodies to help move our heavy furniture to the new house about 5 min away. They were able to provide the movers and got me scheduled with a $100 deposit. The next morning I had to move the time of the move in 2 days from the AM to the afternoon as we weren't going to be ready until afternoon. They told me that is was going to be a $100 fee to move the time. I was not told this when I booked and was upset, especially since it was for the same day and I was told they had plenty of availability. I asked them to review the call and they had their supervisor decide what to do. Eventually they realized their mistake and waived the fee but they weren't friendly about it and told me if I had to move it again they would charge the fee. Well obviously now that I knew about it that was fair but at that point why remind me like I messed up in the first place? Wasn't my mistake. Anyways, after all that, once the movers got there, Dustin and his team were awesome! They were able to get everything done in the time quoted, came prepared with supplies and were very respectful with our antique furniture. Excellent company. I tried to book with another company, but bookings were too far out and they actually recommended Redefyne Moving. I called them and someone answered right away, named Andrew, who was very professional, warm, and courteous and who did a quote for me right then and there. I scheduled our move for a week and a half off. The day before the move, Dylan called and texted to confirm and give me and ETA. The morning of, I received a text when they were 40 minutes away, and it was right on time with their original ETA. The guys who came were sweet, easy to deal with, and worked hard. It was seamless. The price in the end was a little higher than quoted, but it was because the elevators in both places were very slow, so it was out of their control, since they charge by the hour. During the move, their boss, Dylan, showed up at the place I was moving my mom to just to check to make sure they were doing a good job, had lain down the proper protection, and to give me a little token gift. He made sure I didn't have any more questions or concerns. He told me then that he thought the quote would be on the higher end if not over because of the elevators, so there was clear communication throughout.
