My sister and I spent a day in Galena shopping and this was our favorite store. It offers a wide variety of clothing to suit the tastes of most women. It had some things for younger women, but not juniors. I liked that the styles were fresh and didn't seem for just 'older' women. The woman that was working that day really knew the merchandise and was able to help us try things we ended up loving, but wouldn't have picked out on our own. Make sure you spend time in here when you shop Galena!!

They had some really delicious salted caramels when I was in so I bought a few of the individual pieces. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in Galena! Shopkeepers are really friendly too. There are a couple of steps to enter the store, so accessibility could be tricky.

For instance, we purchased the incredible Lavender hand soap in a classy brown-glass container and have thoroughly enjoyed it. We brought it back with us for their wonderful $10 refill deal. They refilled the bottle while we shopped and had it ready when we were ready to check out. Such great service. Some other staples include high quality candles, organic soap bars, decadent hand-creams, and luxurious lotions! Galena apothecary introduced me to the Sea Aster hand creme which I now swear by. I always have a travel size in my pocket! Some other amazing purchases have included candles inspired by different scents found in national parks and a Rosebud Apothecary keychain (yay Schitt's Creek references). The staff are always kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They've helped me get connected with the best products for me. And I've LOVED how they have maintained protective COVID safety protocols throughout all of the pandemic through today. Thanks for keeping us safe! Galena Apothecary is an incredibly classy, high quality, and chic store. Since the products are high quality, do know that its prices are on the higher end. But the products are totally worth it! They didn't have the size I was hoping for, but I was told that they order just about weekly and will order the size needed, with shipping out of town being about $8. Not a bad deal so I'll have to keep it in mind. Ashley is the store clerk who helped me, and she was fantastic. They are lucky to have her here.
