I've been using Simply Green since January 2016 initially due to an extreme problem with a very tough weed called chamberbitter which had all but taken over my bermuda lawn in 2015. It was growing and spreading no matter how much product I bought and applied myserlf. I had tried other "common name" lawn services in the past with poor results and poor customer service, so I called Simply Green this time and they came right out and spoke with me in person and I was able to show them the exact weed that I was most concerned with, as well as all the others in my yard (of which there were many) and the entire areas I needed treated. They began in the winter when my lawn was dormant, and I have had a green healthy lawn all summer. There have been two occasions where I felt the weeds were coming back between scheduled service dates, and I contacted Michelle who sent out technicians free of charge to retreat the problem, and did so very quickly. I have been fortunate enough to speak to the techs who service my property on several treatment dates and they are professional, friendly, and eager to share their knowledge to help you maintain a great lawn. They have also pointed out several issues with my lawn such as "shade problem" to let me know why my grass is think or non-existent and that the issue is not mine nor their's but rather Mother Nature's. They not only treat with weed killers and fertilizers, but will physically dig up a tough weed when necessary. I've never had service as thorough and friendly as I have with Michelle and Simply Green. I only signed up for the basic lawn service, but they also offer additional services for shrubs, core aeration, reseeding and others, and I will use Simply Green if I decide to have any of that done. They also offer online payment options and you have an online account to show past visit history as well as future appointments. This is very convenient and helpful. They are a great company to work with, they provide a great service, and all I have to do is water my green, healthy lawn and watch my neighbors slow down as they pass and turn green with envy. read more

I had been using a national lawn service for several years. I became familiar with SimplyGreen a couple years ago at Lilburn Daze. They seemed eager for my business and I thought it would be good to use a local service. I started with them a year and a half ago and in that time they have managed to kill off large sections of my lawn. I have numerous areas where it is just dirt. They answer the phone, come when they say they will, and my Bermuda grass has never looked better. Neighbors keep asking who treats our grass. I have a feeling the other reviews are either outdated and no longer reflect the service or are people who are in an areas where the technician is not as skilled or tenured as mine in East Cobb. Have been using this company for several years but my lawn (especially in the back is always full of weeds. Their guy comes to spray my entire yard in about 5 minutes, I have almost a half acre backyard and there's no way he can adequately spray my entire yard in 5 minutes. Read to the end, wait for your mind to be blown. I told them I had issues with Dallisgrass and my goal was to rid it. I had about 25% Dallisgrass on my left front lawn when I hired them. 1 year later and I have 80%. They had me purchase 2 special treatments aimed specifically for dallisgrass in the winter time. $90 each. In 1 year, I wasted $730. They told me it takes years to get rid of. Via camera, I saw their worker come to my house and sprayed only the left side of my lawn. The right side, sides and backyard were not sprayed. He just left. I wish I had paid more attention to every visit because I am sure it's what he did every time. I should've gotten a full refund. Instead of them coming up with a plan aimed for my dallisgrass, they basically were giving me regular treatments. Ok mind blowing time. A stranger told me exactly what to purchase to get rid of my Dallisgrass. He came over to my house, mixed it and sprayed my lawn. It's only been a week and all the Dallisgrass is almost gone. Simply Green Lawn Care called our house everyday since we moved in in May trying to get us to use them to do our Fertilization and Weed Control. We signed up with them becuase they said that they have been servicing our home for the past 10 years and even explained our property. We scheduled for them to come out the next week to do the the fertilization, they didn't come for a month after they said they were coming. We had to call them 3 times in order to get someone out to our house. In September they called us and said it was time for the Aeration and Overseeding of our grass and that they were coming out on Saturday to do the service. When they left they left me a bill for $150 and the bill said that the service was for Aeration and Overseeding for Fescue grass. I sent in the check but then relooked over it a couple days later because something didn't sound right. I realized that we don't even have Fescue grass. We have Zoysia. I called them right away to see if they did in fact aerate and overseed, but got their answering machine and left a message. 2 days later I was coming home from errands and a representative from Simply Green says that they didn't aerate and overseed the yard and thank god for that becuase we don't have the grass they would have been laying seed for and that this is the wrong time to be aerating Zoysia grass as well. He said the Manager, Justin would call me that same night and talk to me about our options. I never received a call from Justin so I called them a couple days later and left another message for Justin to call me back. Justin called me back the next day and we spoke and he gave me this whole speech about how when I signed up I should have told them we had Zoysia grass and that whoever created the account with them was confused. However he said they would talk with the Office Manager to get my money refunded and he would call when he got the OK from the office manager. Two more days go by and I call Justin back about the refund and he starts going off about how I asked them to do the service and I approved it and it is my fault and that we have the wrong grass in our yard anyway so we need to change that and the way to do it is to aerate and overseed with Fescue seeds. I explained to him that we aren't looking to make a change in our grass yet because we can't afford it and he said that I didn't konw what I was talking about and that we approved them to change our grass. He was extrememly unprofessional with me over the phone and didn't let me speak. He kept talking over me and saying that if I didn't listen to him that we would never see our money again. At this, I asked to speak with his boss and he said that he didn't have one that he was the Manager and no one is over him. Then he contradicted himself by saying that he can't even approve refunds that only the Office Manager can. So I asked to speak with her. She was much more professional and has in fact refunded me my money after hearing how unprofessional and rude Justin was to a Paying Customer. Long story short. After using this company it's time for a change and I will never be back. I paid them extra money for a so called fungus that my yard has had for over a year but their technicians have never noticed. After paying them to treat the fungus it never went away. I called inquiring about my problem and they said they'd have to treat the yard again and if have to pay extra for that. What?!?! I've already paid extra for you to get rid of my fungus and it never went away. Stay away from this company. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. When we bought our house the lawn was terrible. It took a few visits from the service guy but it looks SO much better. They come out every couple months and leave a bill. If weeds pop up they come back for free. I wish everyone in my neighborhood would hire them so my property value would go up! read more
