Try giving this store a call. Really try it. I'll pay you if they pick up. Was kept on hold for 15 minutes and at that point it would have been quicker to get my question answered by driving there. Update: I went to the store and had my time wasted for a quick no that could've been answered over the phone. I called the store while I was in the store and they keep their phone volume very low so they just basically ignore the phone. 45 minutes of my time wasted. My 86 year old mother returned to this store today after seeking help with her iPad yesterday. The young man who helped her the previous day got it straightened out. However, the first associate she encountered today was rude to her and gave her the brush-off. A bit more civility and patience was due to her. This place is a joke... they know really nothing about the products they are selling and have no clue what they are talking about... I got a MacBook Air great computer but these people didn't even know what type of processed or RAM it had and had it listed as something completely different!! Also the first chick that helped me followed me around the store like I was going to steal something and was very snobby and rude to me so I walked out and came back later hoping to be helped by someone else which I was so thankful for that, but over this place is a joke of an Apple store and a joke of a tech store in general!! How do you run a business into the ground quickly? Hire ignorant, inconsiderate employees. Just bought the new IPhone X from Verizon. Bought the screen protector but didn't have it installed. Came into simply Mac to look at MacBooks for school, figured I'd ask them to install the screen protector while I was browsing. The answer I get? "You didn't buy it here". Okay, no problem. Have a nice day. Went online to Apple.com and spent $1450 for what I would have purchased in store had they been a little more courteous. Second time I have used them and will be the last. The first time they were unable to resolve anything on my iTunes account, but I assume the best so thought I would give them another chance on a different problem a year later The second visit was to address 3 issues. I made an appointment, which they incorrectly scheduled at the same time as another customer. When they finally sent someone from the back he was clueness, but did make sure to tell me that the charge was $39.99. Long story short, after an hour of googling solutions he could not resolve any of my issues, suggested an option that anyone with an iPhone knows, and then suggested I take my computer somewhere else. Final straw, they actually charged me for this! Will not return!!! read more

Simply Mac sucks! I came here because my Apple supprt agent set me up with them. They tried to tell me that my computer was basically destroyed after dropping it one time in the snow and that, at minimum, it would cost $1100 to fix it. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and DO NOT come here. I went to Fix in a Zip and they fixed it in less than 24 hours for $300. read more

I found Simply Mac because my battery on my iPhone 6 Plus had completely died I thought since it showed the black screen with the battery charging indicator. I live approximately 2 hours away so, after briefly looking over their website and confirming they replace batteries, I drove there on a Sunday afternoon. After being nicely greeted in the store I told the greeter that my battery needed replaced. He asked if I had an appointment. I asked why do I need an appointment? I was planning on either waiting for it to be fixed or drop it off and either have it shipped back to me or go pick it up on a later date. He told me they don't and won't do what I said. So, yes, I'm angry at this point because this is the first time I've come across where I have to setup an appointment to get hardware of anything fixed. He did look at the phone in which it wouldn't get off the battery charging indicator screen and said it's the logic control board that's faulty. About 5 days later after being on constant power though the phone came back to life and has been on for at least the past 8 days. The phone just has to be almost constantly plugged into the charger because the battery is so far gone. So I don't think it's the logic control board. Anyway, so I left mad and disappointed that I drove all the way to Lubbock, couldn't just drop it off, and came all the way back home. After getting home I looked much closer at the website and became irate after seeing under Repairs "... we'll get your device back in working condition as quickly as possible with our no-appointment-necessary repairs. ...". Note the "no-appointment-necessary repairs" part. So, if I would have noticed that tidbit before driving up there I would have had ammunition to say I didn't need an appointment because the website says so. Several days later I'm still mad about this and am trying to find another place to have my iPhone battery replaced. EDIT: I contacted the store and was told the appointment policy was instituted a couple of months ago but the website wasn't updated to reflect this. Talked with Lee, the sales manager, who said they're not setup to take mailed-in devices needing repair nor to ship repaired devices. Because of what it states on the website is now opposite of their appointment policy he agreed with me in that he would have done the same if he would have had the same issue as a customer. He asked what he could do for me in which I told him nothing since I live a couple of hours away. He did offer the Apple service support number at least and will let corporate know about the website issue. He also took my information in case they need to contact me later. We'll see what happens from here. I changed my rating from 1 to 2 stars. read more

Completely useless. Didn't even look at my Mac & already resulted in having to completely erase it & keep it for 7 business days.

My college daughter went here to get her MacBook fixed. She was told it would cost almost $500+ to fix it and that all these things were wrong with her computer. I live 4 hours away, so I told her to get a second opinion. She went to pick up her computer and they charged her $75 for just "looking at it". The other place that she went to fixed it for ONLY $60 TOTAL !!! I feel like they tried to rip-off my daughter who is a college student at Tech. SHAME ON YOU SIMPLY MAC!!! I would NOT EVER recommend this hack-shack!! They definitely try to take advantage of college kids!!! read more

I went in to have my watch repaired because the face of my watch simply lifted off. Come to find out it was a swollen battery. When I first entered the store there were a few people in the store. I waited for 45 minutes for someone to wait on me ONLY to be told when I was waited on. I needed an appointment. Needless to say, I was a little upset. They looked at my watch and told me I had to make my appointment and come back for someone to wait on me!!! This was VERY upsetting. I come back the next day at my appointment and still had to wait an additional 15minutes for someone to wait on me. There is NOWHERE in the store where I saw posted you must have an appointment for someone to wait on you. I finally got someone to wait on me and found out my watch had to be shipped off. Your customer service is in need of some improvement. Once I finally got waited on it was fine. read more

This place is literally the worst. I paid $100 for a warranty on my phone. 6 months later the battery was malfunctioning so I had it sent it. I was informed that it would be completely free under my warranty, which is the only reason I sent it in. Once the phone came back I was told that I was going to have to pay an additional $150 to get my phone back. Even worse, I couldn't get my old phone back. The worst part about it was the managers' attitudes. One of them said that sometimes this happens, and the other said that it wasn't his problem. 100% would not recommend this place, and will not be doing business there again. read more

Bought new phone yesterday... Took over 3 hrs to get it done. Employee Poorly trained on how to conduct transaction. Problems with card reader so had to start over! Mgr was indifferent to the employee. I am now on my 3rd trip in 2 days for assistance! This store NEEDS a new mgr!!!!! read more

I took my laptop here because it wouldn't turn on. They told me it was liquid damage (from some coffee a year and a half ago) and would cost $900 to fix and they would have to send it in to Apple. I took it to another store to get a second opinion and it did NOT have liquid damage at all (it wouldn't have taken almost two years to effect my laptop). The issue was a hiccup in the daughter board and I got it fixed perfectly for $250 instead somewhere else! read more

My brand new iPhone 6s was experiencing one of the glitches that seemed to be going around for a lot of Apple product users (random notification of no SIM card & no service because of it). After going through every process offered through the AT&T store & Apple Support online, I went to Simply Mac & while it did take about an hour they did go ahead & get me a new phone free of charge through my Apple warranty. Additionally, they were kind enough to let me keep my phone over the weekend while my new on was being shipped, which as a college student away from home I greatly appreciated. Over all their staff is quite knowledgeable & helpful, I'll definitely be returning should I have any Apple product issues in the future. read more

Terrible experience every time I have come in here. I cracked the screen on my phone and was told by Apple to have it repaired here. Apple quoted me 109 dollars, but Simply Mac decided it was 139 dollars. I was then told that I had to wait an hour because the guy authorized to do loaner phones for iPhone repairs wasn't in yet. This was 11am. I came back in at 12:30, waited another 45 minutes, and then went through the whole process of paperwork, questions, turning off services, etc, only to be told that the guy authorized to loan phones wouldn't loan phones to people who cracked their screens because they now have a "track record" with the store. I loved being treated like a common criminal after waiting hours to patronize a local business when I could have easily sent it to Apple directly for cheaper. This is the first cracked screen I've had in six years of iPhone ownership. It's worth the drive to the Fort Worth Apple Store or the wait for shipping to not have to deal with these guys. read more

If you do have a wait time it's worth it because they spend time helping everyone without it being a "bother". When I've had things repaired it's always been super quick turn around time. My phone was having hardware issues to I took it to Simply Mac, and after being told I would have to send it in to Apple to have the problem assessed Ray had a loaner phone of the exact same generation loaded and ready to go in no time at all. A few days later (alerted via text) I came in to the store, and made pleasant conversation with several employees before Tom came out to help me set up my new phone to make sure it was working properly. An altogether pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend it. read more

I woke up and my phone wasn't working, so of course I went to this store to get it fixed. Simple and easy right? Wrong! I got there at 4:56 and got all signed in. There weren't that many people in the store yet, so I was thinking this would be quick and easy and I would get out in under an hour. After I signed in, I was sitting talking to my friend and I saw a guy walk up to the service and repair desk and the guy there started helping him with his problem. At this point I was thinking that maybe this guy's problem was more urgent or important than mine so whatever. Then they started calling names up one at a time. They called a guy that had walked in 20 minutes after I did. After I had been there 2 hours waiting, for which half the time there were absolutely no employees on the floor, I go to the guy that had greeted me and he says I'm next in line. What kind of order were they going in if 2 customers that had gotten there after me were already being helped? Then that guy was helping someone else, so no one was there to tell people coming in where to go. A line started forming behind the service and repair desk, so when the guy was done helping his customer, instead of calling the next in line (me) he asked the man in line what he needed and started fiddling with his tablet. At this point the other guy across the store saw the pissed look on my face and quickly took his place and told him to help me. I officially got out of the store at 8:16 and the guy didn't even know what was wrong with my phone. He had to send it in to know what's wrong because he isn't authorized to do anything. On top of that, I couldn't use the loaner phone because my SIM card was from verizon. Do not go to this store if you can help it! read more
