She didn't even use cuticle remover, I ask her why she wasn't using it her response was we use water here but if you want some I can use it. She poured this watered down stuff on my nails. DON'T EVER GO HERE!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! I am new to this area and was looking for a decent nail salon nearby. I used to have extremely long and hand decorated nails for YEARS, only going to THE BEST!! I got pregnant and my nails became weak and brittle from all the years of acrylic and damage, so I decided to take a break and grow them out. They were healthy, strong, and beautiful. I originally just wanted a manicure with shellac and a pedicure since were going on our first out of state vacation, but somehow got talked into acrylic. My pedicure is horrible- my feet (heels) are still rough, and they didn't buff or file my toenails so there's ridges still that you can see and feel through the nail polish (or shellac-idk they were confusing me). I only simply said I wanted my nails painted like the picture I showed! (Pink and white ombre acrylic tips in the pic, but I didn't want acrylic tips, just my natural nails painted that way or a similar nude/pinkish hue. He said it had to be acrylic so I gave in, but asked to please not file the natural nails too much before applying acrylic or put bonding agent. I know it helps bonding but it's damaging. Then he progresses to filling/shaping, and I said I wanted narrow and straight nails. (This is exactly the words my last tech told me to use to describe my shape if I went anywhere else!) I had to keep stopping him, grabbed the file to show him the angle they use on the sides to not narrow the nail or flatten the curve of the tip but still file it down a tiny bit. So he continues still to file underneath making them flat. At this point we're both frustrated and I don't get what he doesn't understand. He throws his file at me and tells me to do it myself!! I said I'm not paying you for me to do my nails because you refuse to do them the way I'm asking!! So long story short I said I'll fix them myself, and wanted to walk out, but the old lady Karen's that apparently like getting horrible nail service had to butt their $.02 in, so they made me pay and I'm reversing the charges. I'm not paying for services I didn't receive. My nails were never finished or done. I'll stay at my prior fabulous salon. You get what you pay for. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! read more

Don't go here for a shellac manicure!!! I got a shellac French here. The girl can only do a French with negligee (clear) and white tips. My friend wanted something darker than the clear, but the lady said it's not possible. So after our manicures she came out with the truth, and said it was too hard for her to do. I'm also pretty sure they were showing us color options that aren't cnd shellac. Also, I'm on a week of my shellac French and it's chipping off! 7 days and it's chipping! Don't get shellac done here!!!! I have gone to another place and mine lasted for over 2 weeks. The wait wasn't bad. We were worked on as soon as we walked in the door. Price for the shellac was normal, $29. One of the ladies was very rude and flat out ignored me when I was talking to her. But everyone else was nice. I got a pedicure here. Generally nail techs ask if you want your nails trimmed or not, but this guy did not, so I just offered the information - filed only, no trim needed. A few minutes later, I'm looking at my phone and hear clip clip. Too late to stop him after 2 are clipped, so now they're all short. Apparently you are not allowed to change the massage chair settings yourself either. Most places hand you the remote as soon as you sit down. This place turned it on for me, but it was pounding my back, so I got the remote out of the pocket and changed the setting. It was swiped out of my hand and put back in the pocket. 10 minutes later it turned off, so I got the remote again to turn it back on. Again he stopped doing my nails and swiped the remote out of my hand and gave me an irritated look. He also stopped to take a personal cell phone call for a few minutes in the middle of my pedicure. Just sitting there in front of me chatting on the phone in another language. The only words he spoke to me the entire time was "manicure?" No thank you, just pedicure today. No hello, no thank you, no other questions. I barely got any pumice stone or callous remover treatment to the bottoms of my feet. They're about the same as when I walked in the door. The only reasons it got 2 stars instead of 1 is the place is clean and nice and my nails look good. Hopefully the polish doesn't start chipping off soon. Clean location. Must have good ventilation because it does not have that "nail salon" smell. Updated modern pedicure chairs. Very comfy! Thorough - filed and trimmed everything nicely. Staff were polite and nice. Okay selection of nail polish, but seemed like they had lots of darker colors or bright neon pinks. (we need something in the middle) Oh! I also liked that they had the TV on - to a Law and order type program in English. It was nice to sit back, watch some TV and relax. Justin normally does my nails and does a great job! Lily is also one of my favorites. If you need your eyebrows waxed, ask for her! I have only had one semi-bad experience here. I had some shellac done and the next day it began chipping. The woman who helped me was a bit rude and didn't seem to care what she was doing... However, I went back to the salon the following day and they took care of me right away and were very apologetic. To me, that was great customer service. The only downside to this salon is they don't let you book appointments and sometimes it's a really long wait. On the plus side, it's worth the wait because they do such a great job. :) read more

This is my new spot for a pedi! The place is so clean and the staff is so good with my feet, which is important because I have dermographism. If my skin encounters friction or compression, I get hives at the point of contact. This is the first place that hasn't made my skin hive up. I read other Yelp reviews about long waits, but I always go on a weekend as a walk-in and have yet to wait more than a few minutes. I don't mind that I can't play with the chair settings because I know first hand how easily other people can break those things, so I understand their policy. If someone did want the settings changed, I'm sure a staff member would be accommodating in making them comfortable. read more

Was in town for a week and came to this salon because I didn't have time to go to my normal salon at home before my trip. First I'll start out my saying, although slow, the woman who did my nails took her time and did a pretty good job. However it's only day 10 and my gel mani is already peeling off. The biggest complaint is that they were playing a movie on the tv, which was some kind of action movie with shooting and swear words not to mention it was very LOUD. Just not the type of thing I want to watch when I'm at a salon trying to get a mani/pedi and relax. Also they made no attempts to interact with their customers. They were carrying on with conversations among themselves in their language, also very loudly, which I thought was rude. Not to say you can't have a conversation with your co-workers but remember people are paying to be there and for some it's their only time away to relax and do something nice for themselves. Alright my friends I'm going to keep this brief. I went to get a pedicure with my sister because the weather is getting nice. The first issue was picking out a nail polish color. Truthfully there wasn't much to choose from and the guy was standing right next to us and I couldn't help but feeling rushed. The next problem was with the pedicure chairs. The "massage" is so uncomfortable. It was just shaking and jerking my torso. I hate the be "that person" but I took it upon myself to turn it off which I could tell the people who worked there didn't like. My last complaint was that the water in the tub literally burned it was sooo hot! I didn't want to be an annoying customer but I had to say something and she did end up lowering the temp. I will end on a positive note though, she did an amazing job painting my toes and I do like how they look. Lily is the owner and she's so sweet, so are the rest of the employees. The best time to go is in the mornings, evenings are always busy. Walked in they weren't busy they did take me right away. I didn't even get to soak for a minute. Lady finished my pedicure from start to finish 20 minutes. From what I remember you massage each leg separately not at the same time and she kept hurting me. One of the workers there was ignorant and sat next to me in the pedicure chair and had something in her language on YouTube or something really loud I'm there to relax so I put my pandora up really high she got the point 15 mins later and moved. Told the guy at the front that was the quickest pedicure in my life he didn't know what to say.
