I love this place! Best selection of Ideal Protein - always great advice on vitamins & supplements. Robert & Satti are the best!

The Southwest Ranches Farmer's Market is located in the same lot as Haute Coffee and Mr. Rotisserie…read morefood trucks. It gets very crowded on the weekend making parking a bit of a challenge. This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

Her college Mara was also friendly. They specialize in Argentinian flavors of foods. Everything they have is fresh and good. Yes, it's also easy to park and the service was fast. This is a place I would want to return often for the juices and smoothies, plus their fresh bowls and salads.

Many of the items are available down the road at Publix for less or about the same. I much prefer to support small businesses, but looks like I will just stick with big box stores. First, I found some Madhava Ice Tea/Lemonade on the go packs. I have been trying to drink more tea and thought for $2.39 I would give it a try. I then wandered around the rest of the store. It looks like they may have lost their identity as a health food store since they had items such as Cheez Wiz and other clearly not organic or healthy foods like ferro Roche (sold as single pieces), Hershey minis (sold as single pieces) and other items that are definitely not organic or healthy. When I went to pay, the cashier told me $4.49. I was sure it was $2 and change. I went back to check. He came with me. He tried to say that it wasn't the same and then quickly changed his mind and told me he'd give it to me for the $2.39. Since it was such a small dollar amount I opted for no bag and left the receipt. Sadly when I got back to work I noticed that the box expired 6 months ago! (5/26/2017). So annoyed! Isn't even worth going back and since I don't have the receipt, I will have to strike it up as lesson learned!

It was so good, I ended up ordering another cup. Waffles were healthy - made of Quinoa and topped with fruits and nuts. His salad was well-prepared and tasted great I ordered the lentil salad with added salmon and took it to go. When I opened it, I immediately noticed the lentils looked undercooked. After trying them, they were very firm, difficult to chew and tasted closer to raw than properly cooked. This was disappointing because the rest of the ingredients seemed fresh and well put together I called the restaurant I was told the lentils are meant to be "crunchy" but the texture didn't match that at all, they were hard and not enjoyable to eat. To their credit, they did offer to remake or cook them more, but I was already home and it wasn't practical to go back. Overall, the concept and service are good, but the execution on this dish needs improvement!

I tried the arepa, the Colombian empanada, and a fresh orange juice, and everything was delicious. If this isn't an option for you, they offer delivery within the Broward area. Their website has a wide range of seafood to choose from. Whether you want a ready made bundle or choose to create your own box, there is a lot of flexibility! One of my favorite things to get here is their tuna poke cubes. I've always wanted to make it at home but was too scared to get fish from the store. Raw fish that isn't sushi grade is not something I want to mess with so this option has been a game changer! Yes, this tuna is sushi grade, is already cubed and ready to eat once defrosted. Seafood can be a bit intimidating to cook but they also have some recipes on their Instagram @fishondish. You can follow their simple recipes with the seafood purchased from them! Their pick up is Monday-Friday,10am-4pm. Delivery is available Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. They will call to schedule a delivery time frame to make sure you're home. Don't want that seafood sitting out in the hot FL sun! The ladies at Fish on Dish are the friendliest and are always happy to help if you have any questions. They take the meaning of family business to the next level! I look forward to whenever I get to order from them time and time again. BRB, off to make my poke bowl.
