This was disappointing because the rest of the ingredients seemed fresh and well put together I called the restaurant I was told the lentils are meant to be "crunchy" but the texture didn't match that at all, they were hard and not enjoyable to eat. To their credit, they did offer to remake or cook them more, but I was already home and it wasn't practical to go back. This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

I really like the selection of fruits and vegetables. Everything is so fresh. They also have some unique finds in the freezer. This includes lots of organic choices. I bought some purple sweet potato fries and cauliflower Italian bread. Should be interesting to try. Nutrition Smart had a lot of natural cleaners which is great. I bought a couple. They don't sell anything with harsh chemicals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a delight to shop here. I will definitely be back.
