First time I thought he was having a bad day and disregarded his lack of service and bad manners. Today it pushed me to write this review. Not only he would not respond to my regular "hey man" or "thank you" or "is it ok if I get cash really quick". He was flat out rude and unfriendly. I hope the manager takes action on this. We came here on the recommendation of our lyft driver who told us that this is the first (only?) black owned dispensary in Denver and it's the first dispensary she ever went to when she moved to Denver. They were so helpful and kind, upon walking in they ask "what can I do for ya?" To which I respond, mouth agape like a kid in a candy store, "I just need a minute to take it all in, it's so wonderful, we don't have this where I'm from". They say "first time?! I work close to Simply Pure and it has always been convenient to swing by after work if I needed to. Now that I'm quarantined on the other side of town, It's been a rude awakening to just how Simply Pure is superior to other shops on my area. Everyone I've ever encountered at SP is always super friendly and helpful. Also the prices and specials so far seem unbeatable. The preroll prices are by far the best that I've been able to find, and the happy hour deal on them is insane. Also they have some cbd products that I LOVE and can't seem to find anywhere else (and guess what- you can get them at a great discount on the right day). Simply Pure has always been and will always be a "must-go" whenever I visit Colorado. Amanda is my favorite as she always communicates well with the customers. There are a few other great service members/ budtenders as well but there name escapes me at the moment. On my most recent visit however, there was one gentleman who serviced me and my girlfriend yesterday. Me and my girlfriend arrived one minute after happy hour ended and a man with dreads must have had a bad day because after telling him Amanda Ok'd us receiving Happy Hour prices He still refused to honor the happy hour price and charged us in full. Not really a big deal but his attitude sucked. I was told earlier in the day to write a review and show the review on my next visit in order to receive a promotional price for Simply Pure's high quality joints. I love the store and the quality of bud is top notch but because of the blatant refusal to honor the happy hour prices I wanted to speak on Mr. Dread's lackluster service.
