Kim Anderson (manager) sold me the Choice Protection Plan, and talked it as a great safety net if your items sustain damage because it covers every type of damage. They require you to purchase a Lock - Disc 2 3/4(1) for the protection plan and Kim said the Damp Rid(1) would protect against any moisture in the air. Her customer service was good, but disappointed in the false representation of the choice protection plan. The company, American Claims Management, handles claims for All Storage Virdian. Fast forward, my claim is denied, by under "k. Any loss or damage to Tenant's stored goods for which the Owner is not liable under the law." The denial reason is not related to the cause (storage leaked water) and damage (water damage, rust) to my item (chair) and goes against section 1 and section 1 example, I have included the screenshot of the protection plan. The ACM adjuster, Dyan Walker stated to me condensation does not mean water (although condensation is defined as water droplets) and accused me of not sending the photos he requested, though they are clearly in our email thread. I am currently working with the BBB; this protection plan is a scam to get more $ out of customers just to deny claims when damage caused by the storage unit actually happens.

Public Storage has always had poor customer service, I rented from them once in Massachusetts and when I moved to Texas that was one storage company I avoided. This PS inherited my patronage, recently both elevators were out-of-service for a least 2 days. No one would answer the telephone, I chose to call continuously (redialed every 10 mins) to see if the elevators were working before driving back there. Unfortunately I had to drive up there to find 2 individuals working but not answering the telephone nor were they on a call, and both elevators were still out-of-service. Poor maintenance upkeep no urgency. I am a senior citizen with my unit on the 3rd floor and they told me the only option was to walk up three flight of stairs. They also took over and changed everyone's payment schedule. Most people rent based on the schedule that they secured a storage to lock in a specific date to incorporate into their monthly budget. When PS took over an email was sent to everyone advising everyone's rent would be on the 1st of the month schedule regardless of when you originally rented and they were unwilling to work with long time renters. The only thing positive about this location, is the location and the fact that it is newer than most storages in the area. I would not recommend renting any unit over the 1st floor. My overall opinion, I would not recommend this Public Storage or any Public Storage. Poor Customer Service is unacceptable!

Four young men and two 26' trucks showed up right on time and worked nonstop at an extremely rapid pace to load up extremely heavy furniture and oversized belongings in 3-4 hours (including elevator time) . When they got to the new home, it was about half the time to unload, hook up appliances, and rearrange furniture I requested a couple of times. Everything arrived like it left, nothing broken and the estimate they gave me was spot on. The guys were courteous, strong, and hardworking. Highly recommend
