As I wonder through the aisles today, I remember thinking that all the shoes looked more like work/church shoes and I am normally looking for play shoes. I work in retail, so I buy good shoes to stand on my feet and work in, but when its time to play...I am a stiletto kinda girl. This location is neat and well organzied, but then it should be since I would say that 80% of the merchandise is black or brown shoes. Here it is 3 weeks before spring & Easter, and I didnt see one pair of spring colored shoes or sandles. Everything was (AGAIN) black, brown, pewter, or gold. And when I say spring colors, I'm not looking for pink bubblegum gators or anything else ghetto related, but a nice pretty spring color shoe. I like to shop in my own communtiy, but sometimes I just really don't think that retailers pay any attention to what really draws people like me to a place that is close to home and carries what I like. There were two people working in this large warehouse(type) store at about 5pm on a Tuesday afternoon/evening and probably 6 people shopping all togehter including me. Is this a sign of the economy being bad or a retailer not catering to its customers?
